I'm thinking UnCat will be Petyr's undoing somehow...would only be fitting...

Yeah, that would be great. But like many people here I think both he and Varys will live until ADoS. At least the first 1/4th of it.

Well like every great mid major they take down a few big boys (OU/ned stark, Jon Ayrn/UGA, Joffory- Oregon) but inevitability lose to someone chump in their backyard (Nevada-Sansa Stark)

Quick question regarding Arya... in the books, only the Hound knows her true identity at this point, but they just told a bunch of people in the show and they are now in the Vale... How is that going to affect her storyline? Is she just going to escape the Vale? Seems pretty tough to get in and out of the Blood gate.

I could see them not believing her and telling them to leave, or them killing the Hound and Arya escaping and heading to Braavos via Gull Town maybe.

I wasn't impressed with Gregor awkwardly waving that big sword around with one hand. He should have been either using a shield or using 2 hands on the sword.
Gregor fights using a longsword with one hand.

His movement simply wasn't credible for the best warrior in Westeros and frankly Oberyn defeated him way too easily.
From my reading of the fight, it seems as if Oberyn defeated Gregor more easily in the book than he did on the show.

One thing I'm upset with about the fight is that they didn't show the Mountain really charging. People in the crowd were getting their arms and heads cut off. Oberyn had pissed off the Mountain to where he was swinging wildly and not thinking about what he was doing. I agree, in the show he got his hands on Oberyn a couple of times. In the book, he didn't touch him till he squashed him. Oberyn's tactics were flawless, quick scratch with fast acting poison and then piss him off to where he can't focus. Just had to start showboating.

When I read it in the books I was so pissed that stupid Oberyn didn't chop his head off or slit his throat.

at least we get this spinoff

Wasn't it a lot more crowded in the book? You're right in him swinging wildly and cutting halves of people's heads off, I'm just pretty sure that anyone was allowed to watch and not just nobility like it seemed in the show.

Jorah was so in the friendzone in that scene..."Khaleesi pleaseeeeeee I love youuuuuu"

Posted on 6/3/14 at 12:45 pm to ladytiger118
One scene I'm really hoping they leave in the show is Tyrion coming across Jorah in the brothel with the Khalessi lookalike whore. I don't really care if they keep it with Jorah capturing Tyrion or change it to just him bringing him to Danny. But they got to do the brothel with the lookalike.

YES!!! They definitely need to keep that scene...I'd laugh my arse off the rest of the episode.

If you think about it, Jorah is more of a hopeless romantic than the early Sansa was. With his 2nd wife and then with Dany he just goes all goo goo eyed with romantic love.

Oh, for sure.

Sansa's "transformation" was pretty STEEUUPID. Felt like a silly Disney character or something. So are we to believe that she's moved over to the dark side and will be slinging it at Baelish that night?
Coco should get banned for posting such shitty thoughts.

how could anyone rather other Sansa to new Sansa?

The transformation was just way too abrupt. Sansa's now one of the shrewdest players in the game, out-Littlefingering Littlefinger.
