My thoughts after the episode:
I know a few have discussed it but, Sansa's arc is going to be awesome. We have definitely passed the books with her development. My opinion differs when it comes to betraying LF. The feeling I got from the show is that we are seeing the beginnings of a ruthless couple. I could be wrong.
I am not too disappointed in the battle at the Wall set up. D and D will squeeze plenty into these next two episodes.
I wish they would have given the red viper more screen time before the fight. They could have humanized him even more for the Hodors, so right as they fall in love, he's dead. ( his death was the most frustrating in ASOIAF)
I am unsure about LSH this season. I do not know what's going to happen with that character. There is no way she can end up like coldhands or patchface. Right?

I'm assuming, or at least hoping, that her reveal will be the last scene for this season
would make for a great cliffhanger, just like in the books
I'm wondering how will they handle her appearance. Will they go the Tyrion route and make her less disfigured or go all out?

The show got it right down to him knocking his teeth out.
It wasn't perfect, but it was as good as I could have asked for. The only thing I wished they added from the book that wasn't there was Tyrion puking.

Could be the opening scene to ep 10, no?!

Same here. I'm really liking where they're going with the storyline. Plus there isn't much Sansa material left in Feast, other than descending to the Gates of the Moon, Harry the Heir, Sweetrobin still being a mommy's boy, and some Baelish-Vale Lords tension. They're going to go into TWoW next season with Sansa for sure. And I wouldn't be surprised if they do the same with Bran. As for Dany, her story needs to *seriously* take a back seat...it sucks so hard. I don't see the point in her being in 8 out of 10 episodes every fricking season. Even the Hodors don't like her anymore.

That's when you know something is wrong.

I agree. Show the other goings on in Essos next season. Much less of her.
I'm also firmly in the camp that couldn't give a shite about the Missandei/Grey Worm story. I felt like that was 5 minutes wasted on something instead of a more interesting scene like more of Arya and Hound.

Just look at the last two frames of that pic. This couple is going to wreck shite in the north.

I totally thought she was about say "this pussy" and spread her legs when he asked "do you?"
would have been epic...

And I would've cried since Littlefinger is such a creep.

Pretty much my reaction watching it.

We need to distinguish our Hodor and Maester thread a little better. They look exactly the same besides one word. Especially when they are back to back. Someone's going to f up.

I think 2 or 3 Hodors have already posted in here by accident. I double check my posts every time to make sure.

Reading the Hodor thread and seeing them argue over whether they explained where "Red Viper" came from is agonizing. Two or Three posters know they did but are being talked out of guessing The Mountain's fate for fear of being called out. Its just stupid and ruins the fun of reading their thread. I like to see them speculate.

they're going to ban speculation soon. book it.

Total Hodor move.

Sansa spilling the truth about her identity was a surprise. I also figured that she would use her beauty and would be more seductive later in the story to get her way, but D&D are giving us glimpses of that now.
I really liked this because Sansa has been stupid moopy drag in the show so its nice to see her start to show some swag. Mayor Carcetti needs to tone his batman accent back a bit though

we are only seeing what Mance wants the Night watch to see. So basically the viewer is in the boat as the nights watch and has no idea what really is coming their way.
The next episode is going to be all at the wall so it should be bad arse.
