Yeah the first Mountain was the right choice. 7'1 and he had the rugged look. This new guy looks afflicted.

Exactamundo.
The scene where she stuck her arse up and said "Attack! Attack!"... damn!

The readers trying to look like smart Hodors are pretty obvious.
Seriously? There are 3 possible outcomes to that fight and you are getting butt hurt because someone made a guess that has a 33.3% of being correct?

Exactly.
Gregor is all muscle and no brains...probably one of the dumbest, brute characters in the series. He's a Lannister robot and literally becomes one after the trial.

Hodors are figuring things out.

They need to just go ahead and kill off Daario and replace him with Brown Ben Plum and get rid of the sexual tension scenes from the books.
The original Daario was maybe the best cast character in the whole series, this new guy is terrible and he and Emilia Clarke have no chemistry. Every time he is on screen I just wish it was the other guy the whole time

Daario is probably the most pointless character Martin wrote into the series and makes me wonder why he even felt the need to add him. Regardless of what they do with his character in the show, you can't make steak out of a shite sandwich in regards to that story line. I can tell D&D are doing the best they can with that story line, but there's really no way around it.

Old Daario was definitely douchey enough and had that smarmy attitude. New Daario has the greasy grossness factor down but like I said, the scenes with him and Dany were so crappy in the books and came off as really irrelevant in this episode (especially compared to how all the other scenes/acting were perfect in E7).

From what I can tell in the Hodor thread, they hate Daario too
:

That was some chickenshit directing during the Dany scene, we get a full shot of Dario's arse and Dany's little smirk. Are we supposed to just assume that he has an awesome lap hog? Was she smiling because he shaved his pubic hair into a dragon? It raises questions when a simple dong shot would have cleared everything up. Could have even used a prosthetic or a stunt cock.

I wonder if they recast Daario because he is Benjen Stark? That is the only reason I could think of. The first Daario was perfect minus the blue hair because I hated him immediately. The blue hair that he has in the books could also be a way for GRRM to disguise Benjen just like he did with fAegon.
And to answer someone's question about Sweetrobin: they start slipping him sweetsleep to help calm his seizures although I think LF is trying to use it to kill him off

There are definitely some readers in the Hodor thread this time around, but it doesn't bother me.

One of them predicted Stannis going to the Wall right around the battle.

Yeah. There are literally NO clues in the show that would suggest that.

yes there are...
1. A great battle in the snow Stannis sees in the fire.
2. Davos presenting the letter to Stannis from Aemon about the Night's watch needing more men.
You frickers watching the same show?!
