Yeah that was a stupid mistake. If Robert hadn't gotten killed by a boar it would have been awesome to see him go to war against the Lannisters.

The preview showed a dragon (Drogon). Maybe the dragons go rogue and tell Dany to frick off.

You're right, I hadn't noticed that. I hope it's not too much though bc I want the episode to really focus in and spend as much time on the trial.

If Robert was alive i think he wouldve told Ned to keep his mouth shut
He didnt seem to care about Cercei or Joffery. He was a lazy king, hed probably rather keep doing that until he died rather than fighting a war and overcoming the embarassment of his wifes unfaithfulness AND disowning his families claims to the throne after he died. A big part of a kings legacy is having a son (bastards dont cout), i dont think he wouldve thrown that away for his pride
Just my take on it though.

Ned Stark was an absolute idiot, and the only reason the first 3 seasons had any plot.
If Stark had any brains at all, he would have crowned Renly and had Joffrey killed back in season 1.

Man, we got some Ned Stark hating motherfrickers in this thread. Ole Eddard was awesome, just not the kind of person that thrives in King's Landing.

She needs to develop a naval capacity, anyway. A navy to help control all of Slaver's Bay - and they're not going to walk to Westeros.

All fat drunk Robert talked about was the glory of war, he would have loved to go out fighting. He even tried to SQUEEZE into his armor for a fight at his last tournament

What is all the hate for Ned coming from. Are the characters in the show so fricked up, that when one actually tries to do the right things he is a dumbarse pussy?

No, my point is, when all the characters are so twisted, the only reasonable thing to do is slaughter them all.
