Damn next episode looks awesome. Some sort of Iron Born vs. Bolton men face off, the trial, and the Small Council talking about Dany (albeit they have yet to know that she's not a threat until the end of S6).

Jon got his arse kicked by a drunk dude from flea bottom who wasnt even cool enough to be in the books and got saved by a chick. Weak stuff IMO

Don't talk about my husband and future king like that.

Just finished rewatching GoT and SV tonight.

24 lost me after the third season. Does this one look like it will be good?

Back to GOT, I was going to post this in the Crack thread, but with all of the heightened emphasis on the Iron Bank on the show, I'll throw it out here.

First time I read the books, I didn't give any more thought to Petyr cooking the books than it was his way of gaining favor from the Crown. Everyone thought that he was doing a wonderful job, which helped him climb the ladder. BUT, knowing what a chess (or Cyvasse) player Littefinger is, I'm thinking that he intentionally borrowed excessively from the Iron Bank to dig Robert and the Lannisters into the hole that they are now in to create chaos and help depose the current regime.

I strangely pity both of them. They're both the way they are due to shitty parenting. As despicable as Lysa becomes, I would say it is largely because of Hoster and the highborn system.

I was thinking about this earlier. If he purposely buried the crown in debt, odds are he put a hefty sum back for himself. If so, I wonder what he plans on doing with it all?

I'm not sure, but you should at least watch S7 (the one in DC).
