FWIW I think Stannis becomes the Night's King 2.0 before Jon does.
Yep. I'm betting that's the Epilogue of WoW.

I could see that.
If Jon became King of the Others I'd be ready to break shite.

So yall think Stannis is gonna bang an Other? Isn't that what the Night's King did?

According to legend, the Night's King was originally a Lord Commander of the Night's Watch who found in the Haunted Forest a cold woman with bright blue eyes, seemingly a female White Walker.
Who knows though... we will find out, hopefully soon.
Plus, Bran is with BloodRaven. BloodRaven uses both Bran and Jon Snow? 2 Starks...
Im curious to knon whats been going on with Rickon and Osha all this time

So what do ya'll think the show has planned for Locke? I thought I remember reading an interview about Brienne biting off someones nose but I dont see how he gets back to the Riverlands if hes on his way to the wall

Not sure if you have read this theory OMLandshark... but it kinda goes with what you are saying. With it eventually being the white walkers vs dragons.
This definitely seems to be the way it's heaing to some extent or other.
Personally I always liked the idea that it would end of being kind of a science v. magic thing in the end with the citadel v. the magical things like dragons and others. I gotta admit though it doesn't seem that likely.

From Night's King wiki:
"...when he gave his seed to her he gave his soul as well."
Sounds like Stannis and Melisandre already. Just instead of for the Others, it's for Rhollor & the Red Priests instead.

It would be wonderfully tragic for Stannis though. Once he becomes the Night King, he'll have the army, realm, and respect he's always wanted.

Yep, that's where I first thought of it.

Exactly.

there are just so many places that this can go. I just wish I could read some canon material.
This universe is so big it could contain dozens of novels and not get stale.
I can't believe that naming turtles and watching them die, led to all this.

Honestly, how awesome is this rendition of the "Rains of Castamere"?
It's definitely very good, I still prefer the National version though.

I'm hoping we get the "Dornishman's Wife" either this season or next season like we did with the "Bear & the Maiden Fair" last season--except not a rock song version. Really wish the guy from Snow Patrol did a full version instead of the 20 second cameo.

She is the most confusing character in the series. Sometimes I think she is the most powerful force for good and other times I think she is trying to kill them all.
I think she is both.
She is definitely the most powerful force for good, but is still human.
And is still capable of error and being misguided.
Her power compounds with that to allow her to be severely damaging.
Ironically it is her conviction that is her vice.
There is something to be gleaned from how she was trying to find Ahai, shown Snow multiple times, and could not piece it together.
