This has always been the biggest one to me. Add to it GRRM's emphasis on the Blackfyre's in Dunk and Egg and rivaling Targaryen factions in Dangerous Women it makes a lot of sense.

Speaking of Hodors, I have some coworker Hodors whose asses are super tight over the possibility of Tyrion dying. One of the counselors I work with has been so distraught over the deaths she's been talking about quitting if Tyrion dies.

I just don't think you will see much of her as they get Tyrion, Quentyn, and Victarion moving towards. I would imagine the battle of Mereen happens at the end of the season or at least the fighting pits massacre will be episode 9.

A lot happens in Dany's story going forward. She just doesn't head towards Westeros like many people wish she was.
She has to learn how to rule.
She almost gets assassinated.
She gets married.
She opens the fighting pits.
She has to deal with Quentyn showing up.
She locks the dragons up.
