Yeah. I could have sworn that Hunt was hung first. But doing a little goggling at the SOI&F sites, I think I was wrong about that. Seems like that one is up in the air as well. (I swear I wasn't trying to make a pun there).

Regarding Pod - I guess the Brotherhood must use a "strangle slowly" form of hanging rather than a "break neck cleanly" form.

Once you go gray, you'll never go gay. Plus she still has the gash on her throat.

I'm extremely bummed because I'm moving on Sunday and won't have cable or Internet until mid next week.

By the time Brienne gets back with Jamie, Pod will have Cat well in hand.

As the drunken Irish son of a drunken Irish father I've learned to never say never.

I don't watch the show but just finished book 3. The last half was ridiculous (in a good way), starting with the red wedding. I was genuinely caught off guard for the first time in the series as I didn't think old fray would do something so bold.

I guess I should have picked up on all the references to hospitality protection as clues.

I got spoiled on a 4th of July party last year by some douchebag of a reader. I was bullshitting with him, and he starts talking about Game of Thrones. He then asks if I read the books, and I said yeah. I just being in the middle of GoT, he asked me if I got to the Red Wedding yet. I said I don't think so, and then he follows up saying its when the Freys kill all the Starks. I was super pissed at him. Stupid douche.

That stinks. There are a bunch of events in the third book that would be ruined by spoiling. More than the other books so far, by far.

Yeah, I think the only major thing that the book readers could spoil after this season (assuming we get the PW) is Tyrion killing Tywin. I knew that was coming though from their first encounter and figured out around Book 2 when he was hallucinating that Tysha was exactly who she claimed to be and that Tyrion would find out and kill Tywin for it.

Oh there are definitely several others I can think of in the third book. Spoilers

Revelations and events regarding littlefinger and catelyns sister, red wedding survivor, events at the wall, royal wedding.

1 - Hated Jon for something he himself had no control over.
2- Left her crippled child and her toddler child to traipse all over creation
3- Kidnapped an innocent Tyrion
4- Let Jamie go thereby dooming the Karstark alliance
5- Did a pretty poor job of raising Sansa
6- Decided to hang Pod and Brienne when she had taken the latter into her service.

Very spot-on assessment/summary of why Cat never thoroughly thought things through/makes me dislike her as a character, even pre-Stoneheart.
