Also, didn't Sam release the birds in the book?

Yes, but he was unable to put a note on any of their feet so it was like not sending them.

They have just followed the book sooo close that it seems very odd they would change her name.

Not with Robb. See the entirety of last season.

i really hate how they handled harenhall. i have no clue how they are going to cut of jamies hand with the way they have done the story.

I'm fine with most of the changes. But the Westerling change did seem odd, but the fact that they got married anyway will still cause the Freys to be pissed off.

True but it accomplishes the goal of getting everyone killed in a mass murder.

lol wut.

Her name now is way more confusing than "Jayne Westerling."

I could be confusing it with another name change. I know for sure they changed someone's name to cut down on confusion.

There is still time for that.

I assume the next episode will be heavy on Jamie, Arya, and Dany.

What did they change with Robs storyline? It's been years since I read book 3

Asha Greyjoy became Yara Greyjoy

The writers thought people would confuse Asha, the wanna be Iron Queen, with Osha, the wildling who helps the Little Lord

Asha Greyjoy became Yara Greyjoy so she wouldn't be confused with Osha

Beat me to it...

Both scenes with Tyrion were great, especially the one with Tywin. The rest of the episode was meh, but about what I expected. There's a lot to set up.

I love Peter Dinklage. My goodness he has those eyes down that can make you feel happy one second and utterly devastated the next. He is a great actor.
