I think it's just because of the stigma of being an imp. Tywin knows that Tyrion is a genius and a badass, but the fact that he doesn't represent the Lannister name well (physically) bothers the shite out of him. And also, he likely assumes that his physicality is why he always has to bed whores (instead of honorable women), so maybe that's a reason why he has such a bad taste for whoredom.

Sansa is pretty damn dull. Stuff really needs to start happening with her.
I like the verbal sparring of the people who want to use her though. Old Lady + Eunuch + Littlefingers fighting over her is awesome.

8,000 is a pretty large crowd. Imagine each grouping had, say, 50 men. That's 180 groupings plus the untrained Unsullied.
Well that and a military squad with proper spacing will take up a lot more room than some mob of 50 people.

You know what he means. But keep pretending not to, dick.
Not pretending anything, I knew exactly what he meant. What he said though was incorrect and he was being a douche, thus my response.
Funny how that continues to happen...

And Brienne needs to shut her fricking mouth...telling him to suck it up? She's talking to him like he lost some money...that's his fricking HAND, bitch.
Meh, Bran lost the use of his legs and he's handling that pretty well. Her point is valid, he has no fortitude in the face of adversity.

after he coughed up blood and fell on the floor the a-hole Crow stabbed him like 10 more times with his dagger.
Short of him being a Wight later he dead.

Theon. Really liking this storyline. I had my doubts about old boy that saved him when he started taking the underground tunnels...something just seemed off
I loved that crazy as frick look the boy who helped him had on his face when he led him back to the cross. This show really does a great job of making you hate a person and then later sympathize (or try to make you) with them.

More than all of that though is that Tywin's wife died giving birth to Tyrion.

True. I had typed that (into my phone) before he had gotten stabbed.

True. But Tyrionn is easier to hate/resent because he is "not normal."

wow, that was one of my favorite episodes of the series:
first off, someone said the dany scene was too predictable. and while i agree, i think the fact that i loved that scene made it that much more awesome. i knew what was coming and still enjoyed the eff out of it. (also, seeing her in full power, it kinda moved.)
has anyone started the craster-jay z 99 problems/sons meme yet? b/c if not, it's coming.
so speaking of predictability, i did not expect the shite that went down at crasters. things really escalated quickly. did we just witness the end of the night's watch??
theon's story was also surprising. didn't see that coming? what's the point though? i guess we'll find out.
cersei doesn't like margery because margery is cersei basically. also a great scene with her and tywin. the last line of hers to tywin about trying to stop him from getting what he wants and him saying "i will" was interesting to me.
it's hard to believe that beric or the hound will be dying, that's how trial by combat works, yes?? i don't want to see either gone. but it might be worth the fight scene.
finally lady tyrell is awesome. love that battle axe. in deep dark places i don't talk about at parties, i often think if i existed in the GOT world what family would i like to be in. the tyrells situation seems to be the best. awesome part of the country, hot women, cool castle, biggest army, but i don't like their sigil or their words. i think lady tyrell was just riffing on what every fan had in their minds. good stuff.
edit: i like the jamie/brienne dynamic as well. goos scene btwn them

The whole thing was likely a ruse by his father to determine whether he had truly been tainted by the Starks/allegiances etc.

gotcha and unfotunately i was in and out during that scene. is the "helper" guy one of bolton's sons? he has a bastard too right? or am i thinking of karstark?

Yup. It's fun to watch her get all pissy about it.

Agreed. I'm interested to see how Tywin tries to get a handle on Joffrey. I'd imagine Joffrey has a pretty large amount of fear/respect for Tywin.

All I can say is that it better not be Hound.

i think his actions haven't exactly represtented the name well, either. i mean we've seen him grow but before the series he was a drunk who loved whores. that seemed to bug tywinn more
also, remember what cersei said during the seige about her father's view of the gods. this was after his wife died birthing tyrion. i'm sure he's angry at him because of that (like cersei)
can i post something found in the extras of the DVDs? it's not directly from an episode but i figure it should be fair game?

How could it be his father's ruse? Those men torturing him were Bolton's men. It was a ruse to find out if the stark boys were alive or not. Now they know they're alive. At least that's what my wife and I thought last night.

well Jamie's entire person is based around being a badass with a sword, and now that's gone
remember, i don't think he's ever fricked a woman who isn't his sister and he cannot inherit his father's land and title
quote:

while true, let's give him a little time
he also was captured after escaping, and then "escaped" again...and was captured again. he's spent a year sleeping sitting up and shitting on himself. now his one identifying characteristic is gone. he's probably going to get a bit depressed
