First, I would like to say NON BOOK READER HERE! 
I def agree with this. I really wish they had showed how bad arse Jamie was with a sword before he lost his hand. You keep hearing is awesome with a sword but we never got to see it.

I just think LF wants power, and will do whatever it takes to get it, even if that meant burning shite. But I don't think that his goal is to be the king of a fallen city.

shite, I do remember that. I wish I had the episode in front of me so I could see exactly what it was that he said to Cersei. But the "heir" part wasn't what was important IMO...it was just his point of "If I did that shite for my midget, freak son then you know what's up with my oldest/favorite" that was cracking me up.

Dude, I'm not sure what you think I'm saying here...maybe I'm not explaining it well enough. LF wants to be in power. And if that means king, then so be it. But he wants to have power over grand things (like K'sL), not rule over some burned ashes of a city in ruin. He would go to whatever lengths necessary to get his power, but his ultimate goal is power...preferably over an awesome place (not a shitty burnt one).

Neither do I. I think it might be a smart move for Sansa to look into the Loras thing. I know Maergery is sort of playing her, but Sansa would be a) a Stark, which still carries SOME weight (even if not as much as before unless Robb waxes everyone's arse), b) married to the queen's brother, which would bring some clout, and c) in with the right people so to speak.

It sorta bothered me at the beginning of the season that Tywinn didn't give Tyrion any credit for what he had done in holding King's Landing together last season. When Tywinn showed up Tyrion and Varys were basically the only people in town who both had a brain and were trying to save the place and preserve Joeffrey's spot on the throne.
At the same time I think Tywinn knows Tyrion does just about everything for his family name and even more so that Tywinn will notice him and his accomplishments and maybe he's withholding for that reason. Or maybe he just really hates whores that much.

Wonder if she'd be as pragmatic about wanting to do her duty and have his children as Margarie was with Renly? Something tells me no, unless she's grown up and doesn't still just expect everything about being a Lady or a Queen to be a fairytale.
