Perfect. Needed this reminder. I love cooking based shows/movies for some reason. A good setting for struggle & drama.

The acting is really good. The main guy from shameless is excellent along with his cousin.

Writing is top notch too.

When richie got that stabbed in the butt that was definitely on purpose. She was looking right at him and stuck it in the fattiest part. Also no surprise in her reaction.

Jon Bernthal cameo as the dead brother was nice.

Yep. Episode 7 had me needing a drink. Also, this show is not good for you if you’re trying to quit smoking.

Finished the other night, and really really enjoyed it. Will be sad if we don’t get to see where it goes in season 2.

Also, love that Matty Matheson had a recurring role, as Neil. For those that don’t know he’s actually a chef irl, from Toronto I think, and has made a bunch of manic videos that you can find on YouTube from various food based channels. But I was impressed with his acting for a non-actor.

There were times where it didn't even seem like he was acting, it was like they told him just go improv.

I binged this show this weekend and loved it. Acting was great, storyline rose and fell nicely, characters were likable, and nice comic relief throughout.

Binged it this weekend. Really enjoyed it. Looks like it still up in the air based on audience response but I hope it gets picked up for a second season.

I worked at Chimes during college. This is a bit different. LOL

It's enjoyable but kinda boring at the same time. Does that make sense?

I was listening to the Ringer “best of 2022” podcast yesterday. They said this and the Old Man were their surprise favorites of the year

I don't dislike it it's just I don't think it's as great as other people do
to me, it seems like a show that was written and aimed at hipster posers
