I saw the teaser for this pop up earlier this week. Dane's schtick quickly grew old, but he was huge back in the early 00's.
I never knew there was family drama with his brother robbing him blind and disappearing.

Vicious Circle is hilarious. Atheist Sneeze is one of my favorite bits that any comedian has ever done.
I have no idea why people hate Dane Cook. I feel like the people that hate him probably think the Ned Flanders of comedy (Jim Gaffigan) is funny

Sometimes there is no accounting for undeserved popularity. You see it a lot in music and sometime comedy and Dane Cook is a good example of the latter. Are they going to cover the weird facelift?

He might be the best example of this ever. When his first specials came out back in the day, everybody was talking about how it was the funniest thing anyone had ever seen. I just didn’t understand the love once I finally watched them. I’m not some prude comedy guy either. One of my favorites is Chris Farley for God’s sake.

He’s really good in Mr Brooks. And I don’t like him otherwise so it was fun seeing the tables turned on him by Costners character
