Forget the gay stuff, I watched 3 seasons waiting for the humor. The ONLY humor is Chris Elliott's character and he's usually a lot funnier than he is on this show.

. . .and isn't a proxy for `woke shaming and lecturing.
Mitchell and Cam are great characters. Will Truman is not.
David is neither of those things. He is the funniest character on the show, and his sexuality is just a thing that exists.
The only time it was a focus, iirc, is when he bones the chick in season one. . .and it freaked his dad out.
