The Asian guy has come a long way. Still no Daniel Day Lewis, but I can actually take his scenes seriously now.

I don't get any of it.

One of the best things the show did early on was have Jim try to sort through everything and make sense of it. He was writing notes and analyses all over the walls in his house. Collecting information in a place like this seems like it would be key to not only surviving but also escaping. But nobody wants to share any information. And in a place like this where you are trapped in a loop and can't leave, there is magical and mysterious shite happening literally all around you, impossible things are the norm, etc., people are afraid to say something because others might think they're crazy? That makes no sense at all. It's maddening.

And shite... come to think of it, could Jim's notes have been onto something and that could that be why it collapsed?? I may add that to my "Control" list.

This x1000

You're trapped in a place where monster demons hunt you at night, at this point nobody should think ANYBODY else is crazy.

Like if Jade would just describe the guy he saw to everybody, maybe that ghost/vision has a connection with somebody in town. Maybe they could start to piece together things they have in common. Just stop keeping everything to yourself, JFC

There are the bones of a good show here and the monsters are great but the acting/writing/dialogue is legit terrible.

As far as the plot goes, I think the show would benefit a lot if they start to give some answers or at least hints at what the hell is going on. It seems like they are going in a different direction and just adding more craziness each episode

I’m still all in on this show but yeah I agree. If I did a rewatch, all of the questions they raise them don’t answer is aggravating.

I watched the new episode last night…SPOILERS for those who haven’t seen it

Definitely can’t complain about a lack of info sharing in this episode. A lot came out.

I thought Boyd was gonna throw the cop out into the streets and let her fend for herself

So the phone calls sort of support the “they are being controlled by someone or something in an experiment” sort of thing. “Thomas” knows that Tabitha is hurt and in an ambulance and on her way back to the town. And he also says Jim’s kids aren’t his anymore. Are they trying to grab the kids to be the new kids in white or the gothy kids locked in the tunnels?

Sara: You came here with your sister?
Victor: with my mother too. But they died. Just like Nathan. Except I didn’t murder them.

Some Victor backstory? Hell to the yes.

In no way should Tabitha have let that cop cuff her to the ambulance. And it seems like she did an awful job of explaining the situation to everyone in it. Just tell them you know where they are and that as soon as they get to town they need to hop out and run inside. And be like I know this sounds weird but we have to. So that’s what I’m doing and y’all can do whatever the frick you want. I’ll see you in the morning.

Hey Tabitha, how bout you tell everybody that Henry is Victor’s dad?

Julie talking to Ethan a little. Jade talking to Kenny and Kristi finally. Let’s share shite and move this thing forward.

Holy shite, Christopher’s creepy arse ventriloquist dummy.

Why are there so many empty bedrooms in the hill house? Does everybody just sleep on the floor??

Ok this whole thing with Fatima eating weird shite needs to either pay off somehow or disappear. It’s weird as frick.

Next week looks promising with Victor finding out about his dad and them visiting the downed tree in the road. I like that we are back to trying to actively figure shite out in this place.

Solid episode tonight.

I thought it was a good episode. Now if we can just get a couple more of the key players all in the same room to discuss we might start getting some answers.

I think Jade saw the ventriloquist dummy in the caves didn’t he? Is the dummy just gonna start talking and tell them what’s going on?

I was not expecting it when the girl took that stray bullet to the gut.

Boyd Leaving that one guy behind to be tortured right after he opened up about how he was scared death wasn’t the worst thing that can happen there was savage and will come back to haunt them.

Zero chance I allow myself to be handcuffed to anything in that town, after dark, without fighting like my life depended on it. Sara allowed that to happen way too easily.

In the post-credits bullshite they show after the episodes (and I believe in one of the trailers) they said that some pretty main characters aren't gonna survive the season. I'm not sure if Randall falls into that category or not 9I suspect not), but he's been fairly main in the last half-season+ now.

I know they showed him alive at the end of the episode, so I wonder if they are gonna let him survive longer or if they just pushed his death off until next week. But I assume this all feeds into the angle that the town and the monsters are pushing Boyd to his breaking point this season, and now Randall is just the next step in that process since Boyd directly left him to the monsters (and even bargained his life a bit with the keys).

Obviously my hope is that Ethan somehow bites it, but I suspect we can't be that lucky.

Something is definitely going on with Randall. They don't just leave people alive

Almost makes me wonder if he himself is a plant/on the inside. Especially since he’s the one that brought it up in the first place.

One of my favorite theories that I have heard is the baby inside of Fatima was conceived by the monsters to form some sort of new monster that is not effected by the talisman's, and that there is potentially already a plant within the town, possibly monster or not.

My initial thought was he'll just live long enough to tell everybody that Boyd left him to create "would Boyd leave US?!?" drama around the town. If the idea for the season is the monsters are trying to break Boyd, getting everyone to begin distrusting him, when that's all he really has, would be a solid way to do it.

Anybody watch last night? I feel like From threads are always slow because nobody watches the show still.

Good for Jade for going at Jim for not sharing information about the bottles and messages/dates and all that. Jade is the one person focused on getting everybody the frick out of there. Which I assume means he will die soon.

I feel bad for Victor’s dad. I assume Tabitha told him about his Miranda and Eloise? If not I hope someone else did or else why isn’t he looking for them too.

This old lady is weird as frick. And she seems getting more and more involved.

This town meeting. Are these people insane? Why would they not understand what Tabitha went through instead of just being all mad about everything? And Dale can frick right off. I actually hope he dies soon.

Why the hell would him and Tabitha not make sure their kids were with them at the meeting? Julie being at colony house is dumb as frick. And Elgin isn’t at the meeting either? At least they are sharing information I guess, but they both have unique information that could be shared as a community to help figure things out (Elgin's visions and dreams, Julie with the same after being "kidnapped" by this place last season).

What did Julie grab from Fatima's room?

Victor to Sara when she's trying to cheer him up by saying his dad may not be happy to see him: "You’re really bad at this."

I guess Julie stole bud from Fatima. Where the hell does he get weed from?

I get everyone being mad that Tabitha didn’t alert anyone to this place. But Jesus none of them seem to give a shite that she literally escaped this place.

The scene with Victor and his dad was actually really sweet and damn near made me tear up. The acting has stepped it up on this show.

I'm surprised Fatima told Ellis about eating the dead fruits/veggies. Ultrasound machine next week should be interesting.

New bottle tree date/number: 2659. WTF...I guess that throws the "these are dates" angle out the window??

I hope Dale ends up in that well that Boyd was in.

Welp, nevermind. He’s in the pool trapped in concrete. WTF. That doesn't even begin to make sense. I wonder if that maybe used to be where a tree was or something.

I wonder what the hell Tabitha sees in that room in the previews for next week.

That was Fatima's room, that's why she looked out the window and remembered their conversation.

Maybe 2/6/59? Some of those monsters look old-timey.

And yeah, the diner meeting. Now we known why the characters never wanna talk about things or always have to go. The minute you tell anyone what's going on they all turn into angry retards. I hope the monsters get them all

You're right. I even knew that based on the flashback, but had written it in my notes as Victor.

Good call. I wasn't thinking that, but you very well may be right. I need to go check some of the other numbers I've seen to see if they correlate to that format.

SUPER fricking annoying. I thought this episode did a good job with Boyd dealing with bullshite and how he handles that. I liked that he lit into his son about it too because he and Fatima were some of the worst ones in that meeting.

He was also too light on the bus driver when she came for her mea culpa. Like he said, he gets that everyone has questions, he's just tired of being the one without the answers. But like at the diner meeting, it's like they all forget that they are trapped in this weird hell of a place TOGETHER and through no fault of their own, yet they want to yell and get mad when people don't have answers.

The only thing that made sense was them being pissed off when Tabitha said she didn't even tell any authorities about anything. And I assume she did that to avoid being put in a mental institution, but still. If I was in that town and someone managed to get out and come back, I'd be annoyed that they didn't try to get help I think.

What's weird to me is how much Jim feels like basically a background character now.

Coco, I was super confused reading your post not realizing you were taking notes as the episode went along. When you said I hope Dale dies soon I was like

But I have no clue what Tabitha will see in that room next week. I thought it was pretty predictable that Dale was going to be in that pool after going through the tree (maybe it wasn't as predictable as I thought because my wife never thought that), but I'm stuck on the Tabitha thing. I've seen some people say she sees the two twins up there, but I don't think she would have that type of reaction towards them.
