I thought we were getting a OUATIH prequel so we could discover whether he killed his wife. Instead, a sequel occurring nine years later with Brad Pitt playing the Fred Ward role from The Player (great movie). At worst it will be visually stunning and at least partly interesting; at best it will be as good or better than OUATIH so pretty high floor and ceiling. Color me interested. Maybe they do flashbacks:

Oh they will. Don Burt (fincher's longtime guy) designed it and they shot entirely in LA with a lot of well designed sets on stage. I saw some photos and the sets are amazing.

Erik Messerschmidt will give it a darker look than Bob Richardson ... should be great visually.

I'm really looking forward to it.
