In the comics, Steve Rogers is still Captain America. Falcon became Cap for awhile but is now back to being Falcon. For awhile, even Old Man Steve Rogers was also still Cap.
I expect to see him back as well as ScarJo, Vision, etc. Deadpool Vs Wolverine, Loki, Multiverse of Madness, Eternals, etc has been setting up alt universes for the last 3 years to fold in Fantastic Four and X-Men, so why wouldn't you bring Chris Evans back?
I even expect them to bring in Edward Norton's Hulk as well as Terrence Howard's James Rhodes. I even expect Agent Coulson back.
It's Alt-Universe MANIA and it should have been expected now for some time.

I could see a lot of potentially awkward "multiverse" reunions where characters meet up with versions from other universes.
Like Yelena meeting Natasha
Loki meeting Thor
Honestly, there's going to be so much potential for this you almost NEED Deadpool just so he can look to the audience and explain WTF is going on
It really sucks they screwed up She-Hulk... her and Deadpool doing a 4th wall break together, if written well, could've been pretty damned funny but I don't trust them doing anything well with that character.

Nothing beats the DC/Marvel crossover where Wonder Woman confronts Marvel's Hercules. DC went with the mythology of Hercules raping Wonder Woman's mother Hippolyta. Diana didn't care which Hercules she beat the shite out of.

I read somewhere this is basically the premise of Doomsday. Cap returning the stones, but changing his timeline screwed with the universe and RDJ is wanting to restore things to how how they were supposed to be.
