Y’all have completely overrated it. It was entertaining but based on this board I kept waiting for some huge twist to come that just blew my mind and it never came. I’m disappointed in the MTV board because y’all are usually pretty spot on.

Agreed, it wasn't as great as this board makes it out to be.

I see why it is overrated, though. It's the nostalgic factor

I still need to finish seasons 3 and 4 but the entire history of you and be right back just hit me. Nosedive was probably my favorite of the Netflix seasons so far.

that's why its good. there is no big twist. black mirror got too reliant on the twists and they became very predictable.

Nosedive gets a lot of hate on this board, but I loved it.

I’m sorry but that’s ridiculous. That’s the point of the show. Not to twist you unnecessarily but they’d been so good at doing it in a way that really made me contemplate about every time. This episode was just dull.

The twist happened in the middle and not the end. And apparently you didn’t like that. Others did. I enjoyed the episode

I definitely enjoyed it but for so many people to call it by far the best black mirror episode is hard not to roll my eyes at.

There seem to be two types of Black Mirror fans: Those who watch for the entertainment value and those who watch for its holistic value—how all of the pieces work so well together as an experience.

San Junipero’s ending crescendo is unmatched.

youve completely missed the point of the episode. its the emotional factor, not the twist. its a very intricately woven love story. you are getting hooked on the devices rather than the actual story.

No, the love story just made me dislike Kelly's character. How is she going to go full time in San Junipero with Yorkie (who she's known for a couple weeks) after she's said numerous times she would die naturally like her husband of 40 years. Even if she doesn't believe in heaven, it still shows she lacks integrity.

Yorkie was just a lovesick and whiney stalker.

And? You don’t have to like a character’s motivation in order to understand it. Few want to die alone and cease to exist forever.

I think I liked Hang the DJ more than San Junipero (both had a similar feel).

Can't recall the name, but the episode when the guy was in the video game is one of my favorites.
