Finally started S2 of The Witcher. Way better so far, than I was led to believe.

Not as action oriented, more intrigue.
But I am still digging it. They waited until episode 4 to introduce Dandelion, which is a shame.
Just finished episode 4, but it has me rapt.

It wasn’t as good as season 1 but better than people made it out to be.

Yeah probably because you haven’t read the books or played the game.
It’s like a 7 year old made a crayon copy of a museum painting.

Ciri is closer to the books than the games

I’ve read some of the books and played witcher III
I can just enjoy things for what they are. Something people seem to really hate doing around here.

Also, Triss' dress is holding back some cannons
As Squirrley Dan would say, "And THAT's what I appreciates abouts yas, Miss Merigold."

It deviates from the books in ways that are frustrating; however, the end result is well done. I liked it a lot. It’s a good example of how you can make changes and still be (mostly) true to the essence of the source material.

Nenneke as a hindu was an interesting choice.
I like it.
I like it.

Yennifer gets her hump and jaw fixed (hunchback body double better boobs BTW) but Fringilla comes out still looking plain as a doorstop.

Dwarves coming in was a "frick yeah" moment

As someone who knows nothing about the game or books, I enjoyed the heck out of the series. Waiting on more.

I will say, S2 of The Witcher was fantastic and a million times better than S1.

I've read every single book played ever single game including the DLC and I can say you are a no joy having arse. Both seasons are great. Frickin hate gatekeeper fandom.

One thing the movie board has taught me…never read books. It destroys any opportunity for a good movie/TV
