It has to do with the movie because he's IN it. for one. And secondly, he's playing Reed Richards, much to the disgust to many actual fans. He's not Reed Richards. He's DEI 'white passing' Reed Richards. So he's already on thin ice.
It takes almost zero effort to show a tiny amount of discretion, but no, he's too bold and flaming to even pretend to care.
