Gotta be the worst show on television. I’m ashamed of myself for still watching it at this point.

Stopped watching midway through 2nd season

Only reason it was remotely interesting at first was because it showed the initial breakdown of society

I stopped after the magic bullet splitting scene this season. Been reluctantly watching until then but that was it for me.

It has become a show that I watch while on computer the whole time. It is downright awful

Same here. I was reading news on the iPad for the whole episode tonight. It’s barely good enough to kill time for that.

I stopped around Season 3.

Dislike all the characters except the daughter, and that's just for her looks.

All the rest are ugly and have horrible personalities. Annoying as shite and they all too filled with themselves.

Don't like the desert location, don't like the Mexican and feather Indian cultures.

Don't like the story. There isn't anything to look forward to.

America agrees...

You missed the only decent season, but still a good choice.

Yeah, this was gonna make it different from TWD. Problem is, they fricked that up and went away from this almost immediately, and just about every main character was downright unlikable.

So many people tuned into the first season thinking it would show the apocalypse (especially in a massive city like LA) immediate breakout but instead they had a week time jump.

Iirc, didn’t the military quarantine/build a perimeter around the family’s neighborhood?

It was lame

I quit watching mid way through Season Two. They just lost me.

I do have a question though based on commercials that I have seen. Is Morgan now on this show?? What is the time frame relative to The Walking Dead? Is this after Rick first finds Morgan in whatever small town they were in at the beginning of TWD? Is this before or after Morgan shoots his zombie wife? Are they on the west coast still or has the FTWD group moved all the way to southern Georgia?

And if no one cares to update me on this, I am ok with that. Just some questions I had based on commercials. I'm not losing sleep over this crap show.

Morgan and now Dwight are on Fear. They are around the same time Rick got picked up by the helicopter. They might be six months prior to that.

This is after Morgan left Alexandria following the war with the Saviors.

They are operating as Far East as Mississippi and as fat west as central Texas. Mostly set in Texas.

It was great from the mid season of season 2 through the end of season 3. When Gimple got more involved in season 4 it went to shite, and season 5 is far worse than season 4. I don't know how I can stomach it anymore. Keep hoping Dwight and Morgan will do something to redeem it.

Agree. Stopping at mid 2 was a bad idea. S3 is the best of the show.

I quit somewhere in horrible S4 and guess I won't be picking it up anytime soon. Bringing Morgon was a known bad decision and that killed it for me.

I was ready to give up on the show halfway through S2, but by the end of S3 it was a far better show than TWD. Then it went downhill fast once Gimple became involved. I managed to get through last season, but had no idea a new season was airing now, and I have no plans to catch up.

I thought Gimple getting moved away from TWD was the first step in easing him out of the picture. Instead, of AMC realizing he sucks, they gave him the key the the whole franchise.

The quality and ratings of both shows continues to plummet.

Yep. Right there. I dared to tune back in a couple of weeks ago and got Terms of Enlesbianment. I have no idea what's happened since then.

But even more than the stupid bullet tricks and lesbian love sagas, this show has no idea where it wants to go, and it is vague as shite about getting there.

As far as I could tell, they got an airplane and crashed it, just as Max Headroom planned it - and they're screwed and have to leave whatever place they were at.

And that was a flash forward. The whole season has been an exposition of how they got there - and I still don't know how they got to where they were in the first place. And there's no explanation. Gimple or whomever seems to think they are a master, avante gard storyteller, when in fact he/she is a scatterbrained idiot. There is no narrative anymore. It's just a bunch of random time jumps and splintered sub-plots.

And TWD is rapidly turning into the same thing. I don't know what they have planned for the movies, but unless they're direct to Netflix releases, I just don't see how there will be any interest by the time they are.
