Had been seeing some clips on YouTube and finally decided to watch it on Hulu. Finished the first season and just started the second last night. Wow what a great show. I cant believe I missed this the first time around.
The stories, writing and characters are all very well done and I really enjoy the subtle tie backs to the movie.
Any insights without spoilers?

Season 1 is up there as being one of the all time best seasons of any TV series.
Season 2 is great, just a notch below season 1.
I enjoyed season 3 just fine but not as good as 1 or 2.
I had to look up season 4 because I really couldn't remember the premise. It was not very good.
Season 5 was ok, but kind of strange.

S1: All timer
S2: Extremely good
S3: Good
S4: Not good
S5: Pretty good
I always catch hell on here but S1 of Fargo > S1 True Detective as I know they came out about the same time or same year.

It's all down hill from here. Do yourself a favor and quit after S. 3 (or even S. 2 if you are busy). There are just too many great shows out there to chase the magic they created in S. 1.

See, I think season 2 was some of the best shite ever on TV and better than season 1.

Both are great, but I see Fargo S1 as just great and True Detective S1 as an all-timer.

Don't sleep on Bokeem Woodbine. I'm amazed that didn't lead to him getting all kinds of big time roles. Matter of fact, I would love to see a spin off season of Mike Milligan going to Minneapolis in the early 1980s to make a name for himself in the dope game.

I don't have a problem with that opinion really. *****SPOILER ALER*****, they just really lost me with the alien shite at the very end. Kind of like Stephen King wrote the last episode.

Season 1 has the best character with Billy Bob. I actually liked Season 2 better. The cast was great and I loved the story. Season 3 was good, but a noticeable drop from the first 2 seasons. Season 4 just felt really out of place and didn't have the same Fargo feel. You could skip Season 4. Season 5 was about the same quality as 3, but I thought the characters were better in Season 5.

I really liked Season 3. Season 1 and Season 2 were gems…season 1 slightly better.
Could not finish season 4 or season 5. May try season 5 again though.

Finished S2 last night after the game. I would have to say 2 is slightly better than 1 just based on the actors and the pace. Both are top notch television.
Guess I will start 3 tonight and see where it goes.
