Yup... I figured there would be a storyline to where the wife wasn't exactly who he thought she was or even that she would say "I know you killed your wife, but I don't care... I'm here for you" And then he would end up killing her too.

Can't wait for next week. I wonder what the significance of Malvo listening to the recorded phone call is? I believe that is the 2nd time they have shown him doing that.

My first thought was that he was thinking about framing Lester or something but that wouldn't make sense. I think you're right and he just likes torturing people and admires his work.

They were just making her as likable as possible before they off'd her. I don't think it had any more significance than that.

If he wanted to play with Lester for a little while longer then why did he roll up to his house with knife in hand? Why was he trying to get info about Lester's whereabouts from Lou? Why did he immediately shoot the person in Lester's jacket when said person walked into his office building?

That isn't Malvo playing games with Lester. That's Malvo definitely wanting to kill Lester, and as soon as possible.

I think he didn't kill Lester in the elevator because say some medieval shite to him (maybe something about Romans being raised by wolves or the like) before busting a cap in his arse, and then Lester hit him in the head and ran away before Malvo had the opportunity to quote Ezekiel 25:17 or some other such stuff.

if lester's new wife knew him the way we do, when he said "you won't need a coat where you're going", she probably would've said "speak for yourself", lol...
