Good not great.

Season 1&2 opened with a bang and this one didn’t. But I’m hopeful it picks up. Good story line are there just deliver.

Got ya. I'll give it a shot tonight or tomorrow.

Im not sure if i've ever heard someone say this because there hasnt really been many Fargo threads on this page, but I actually enjoyed season 3 better than season 2. None of the characters in season two came off as a bad arse like they were trying to make so many of them be. And Kirsten Dunst character was just too dumb to make it halfway believable.

I still enjoyed the season no doubt, it was just a decent let down from season 1.

I thought s2 was best.
S1 was close second
S3 I liked but not as much.

The only thing I didn't like much was the narration time spent on the mortuary family. That dragged. I assume they tie into the neighbor nurse and the Italian mob family.

Otherwise the two crime families have set up nicely.

I was late to the show and just binged S1-S3 in last couple of weeks.

To me, S2 >> S1 >>>> S3.

I thought S2 had the best group of characters that all had an impact. The cast was absolutely stellar. Dunst plays her character to a tee. Woodbine, Wilson, Danson, Plemons, Jean Smart, they all nailed it IMO.

S1 was really good too, but a more narrow focus. Easily the mains were amazing as well. The casting on this show has to be one of the best ever. And that is not an understatement.

S3 to me had less character depth in the writing and that's why it's last. I didn't mind the overall narrative, but it just didn't hit like S2 and S1.

Don’t love it but don’t hate it. Doesn’t really feel like Fargo.

It’s not. It black oppression forced into a show called Fargo that isn’t Fargo at all.

So you're good with violence, murder, ufo's, supernatural, but your issue is "black oppression forced into a show called Fargo"

Systemic racism and bigotry for everyone!

We got hasids, EYE-rish, EYE-talians and blacks being oppressed while they commit crimes in the KC community

The problem with this season is that it might possibly have too many great characters.

Two minutes with Olyphant's character and I wanted a whole season giving us his backstory.

So last night I realized that two episodes aired the first week and I watched Episode 2 first. No wonder I found it so confusing last week. I'm a moron.

Obtuse response. Do you feel like you scored a point?

Clearly it’s a matter of forcing the socio-political frenzy of the moment into a story that was never remotely about that, quite the opposite.

I love that guy. Did some reading on him recently and he seems to be a Keanu Reeves type down to earth nice guy. Married to his college sweetheart who seems like a normal person.

Chris Rock is one of my favorites and i dont know why but he felt kind of flat. he wasnt selling his role enough for me. maybe that will change

I like the Doctor Senator character better than Rock's character.

Pulling hard for the Rabbi character to use his experiences to come out on top, somewhere, at some point.

Hate Schwartzman's character, but not as much as I hate his brother.

Am I going into this the way the writers hoped I would?

Just finished episode 3. Better than the first 2. The guy who plays the brother that comes over from Italy is awful. I know it’s Fargo and it can be cartoony at times, but he’s so over the top it’s obnoxious. Rock isn’t any better either. Guy just can’t pull off the head of a crime family.

I just don’t buy the Chris rock character because he doesn’t have any substance to him

To be the boss of a black gang in KC in 1950 means he did some ruthless criminal shite to get there, just don’t see it from him

When he told the Italian he was going to knock him out at Fadda’s house it was comical
