Most of the reviews of this season said its good not great and moves very slow.

I have to agree based on the first two episodes.

Chris Rock is one of my favorites and i dont know why but he felt kind of flat. he wasnt selling his role enough for me. maybe that will change

Don’t love it but don’t hate it. Doesn’t really feel like Fargo.

Maybe need more snow in the ground.

I just went to FX to replay it in the background this morning and they have put up Episode 2 by mistake. Some of you may want to grab it...

I don't buy Rock as an organized crime boss. Doctor Senator was good though.

Liked E2 better than E1. Plenty of potential stories.

Yeah, I'm a huge fan of Fargo, all three seasons. This isn't Fargo. Yet. I won't give up until the end. But this feels like a giant turd.

Maybe part is I grew up in Kansas City and know the history. Something that Noah Hawley seems oblivious of. For beginners this is supposedly based in the era of Tom Pendergast. So the whole background of the gangs is nonsense. But the whole story is off from the Fargo universe, but fits well into 2020. frick 2020.

I think Jessie Buckley is the standout so far. She's fantastic. Agree with other posters on Rock though. Not all that into his performance. Seems out of place.

Haven't watched yet but I just laughed the first time I saw Rock in the first promo. He has always has such bad screen presence it's damn near ruined his career. He just belongs on a stage

So far my favorite characters are Doctor Senator, Rabbi Milligan, and Detective Odis Weff.

He's terrible in this, almost ruins the entire thing.

eta: Also, this season is a little cartoonish so far compared to prior seasons. Prior seasons also had some knockout performances (billy bob, martin freeman, hanzee, bokeem woodbine, david thewlis, etc). Don't see anybody at that level so far, maybe Jessie Buckley is the only one with potential.
