Totally agree. Nothing wrong with playing the same character. I freaking love Denzel movies. I love Vince Vaughn movies. They have perfected their styles and they are enjoyable styles to watch. I only discussed them as playing the same character because that's what the thread is about. Doesn't mean their movies suck, or even that they're bad actors. Just means they have gotten comfortable in certain roles.

I truly believe that. Will Smith is incredibly overrated IMO.

look i like him, but i will always see Jack Nicholson when I see him acting. There's a reason he is someone who gets impersonated a lot and why guys like Gary Oldman and DDL dont....
