LOL Why?

F1 is in no way hurting and the over marketing/popularity of the sport has made it annoying.

Turn your brain off if you’re an F1 fan seeing this film. If you just enjoy the racing action it’ll be a good time.

Just got out. It was a decent popcorn flick, but damn you have to suspend all disbelief at the racing scenes. It isn't sharks in the colosseum bad, but it is eye rolling bad if you want anything that resembles real racing or for anything F1 related.

I was surprised to see this has IMAX screens next weekend too instead of JW Rebirth. No IMAX at all for the dinos.

Well wasn't Lewis Hamilton one of the producers?

Joseph Kosinski explains how they re-engineered existing race cars to shoot the racing sequences in ‘F1’

“We designed the car so that it had built-in camera mounts at 16 different positions for our camera system. We found spaces under the radiator to hold our battery packs, our receivers, our transmitters, our recorders”

I just got out and really enjoyed this movie. Would watch again if I can make to an IMAX.

I’ve been fooled before with Driven though

Is that the one with Sly Stone? If so, I really liked that movie.

It wasn’t the woke flavor. It was just decades old tripe compiled into a single film. Like the technical director making it a point about overcoming adversity to be the first female…yet lacks any self awareness about sleeping with drivers.

Or, the weak link wheel gunner who complains about being comforted in front of her peers because it hurts her credibility as a woman. …maybe she should just worry being the weak link, and not the correct answer on her business management final exam
These were very minimal and in no way major plot points at all lmao

Not the best racing film.

It was ok. I was really excited to see the film, but was let down.

I would have changed the story a little bit.

Pearce would have been cut in real life and never been offered a seat elsewhere.

The tire changer would be gone too.

The F1 Team would slip back to what it was before once Sonny left. No one experienced growth. Sonny is the key.

Yeah.. end credits even gave a nod to Roscoe

I liked it. Wish they would have shown some qualifying but really enjoyed it. The wife is not an F1 fan and she liked it.
