I really could not believe what I was seeing when I was in the theater watching that. Some people thought that ending was epic, but I just found completely horrific on a Human Centipede level
Lol what a snowflake.

Seriously. He was perfect. Snyder did really well with the castings.

Did he though?
And for the Lois Lane pic, I had to scroll for like 4 minutes to find one of her. That’s how much she sucked as Lois Lane.

I think your problem is with his story and dialogue. Adams is one of the best. It was a good choice.

Idk how you can say they made no use of him when he’s considered the best Superman thus far and has been in 3 movies.

Is he? I don't follow the DCU a whole lot but I'm not sure I've ever seen anyone talking about Cavill being the best Superman of all time. I still hear that Reeves is the perfect Superman.
Reeve is the best Superman and by far the best Clark Kent.

Sorry.
Cut my teeth in the Donnerverse (was 10 when Superman came out).
Cavill is the best Superman
Welling is the best Clark

I don’t see where you’re disagreeing with me here. I think Cavill was impeccably cast and gave the role his all, but the material he was working with was total shite.

I agree to disagree.

He's a broken record.
Personally, I always thought Reeves gave off a slightly effeminate vibe as Superman and thought the Donner movies were cheesefests.

The first Superman movie was the only one that Donner fully completed and it was great for its time, but try watching it today and yeah, you’ll quickly get over it.
And Gal Gadot, Jason Mamoa, Chris Pine, Zachary Levi, Mark Strong, and even Affleck were well cast.
Ben got absolutely jacked for the role and was the most physical intimidating of every Batman to date.
Even Michael Shannon was great as Zod. Not to mention Russell Crowe, Diane Lane, and Kevin Costner.

Mark Strong would be a perfect Lex Luthor
And Rachel McAdams was born to play Lois Lane. Could also see Kate Beckinsale.
Didn’t love Affleck as Batman bc he was too well known. He did a fine job in the role with what he had to work with.
Love Gal Gadot, but Jaimie Alexander would have also made great Wonder Woman

I’ve always been a fan of Billy Zane playing Luthor. Honestly he should have been the first person cast (outside of Henry Cavill) in the DCEU and Luthor should have been President after the first film and been in multiple crossovers even if just cameos. Seriously watch this clip with Billy Zane and tell me he wasn’t born to play Lex Luthor. Luthor would have said this almost verbatim and Billy Zane was born to play Lex Luthor. Seriously, if I didn’t tell most of you nerds this was Billy Zane, you would think this was actually Lex Luthor being interviewed: YouTube

Either her or Jennifer Lawrence.

I honestly don't say this much about your opinions on movies, but I actually agree with you 100% on MoS as a movie. And I thought the ending was in place for the shock value alone and not because it needed to be. If the sequel to Man of Steel was an Injustice type storyline minus the Red Kryptonite, I could have believed it because of how much of a sociopath Superman was in the first.

I mean seriously, how wasn’t the first words out of an executive’s mouth familiar with the DC franchise say “Well, at some point Luthor has got to be President.”? Seriously, if the DCEU was done well, Luthor would have been President and possibly done cameos for 10 movies. That's a hell of a miscalculation to make Luthor just some nerd who can be destroyed. An actual good Luthor just from the picture you should think he can beat the shite out of Clark Kent even though he can’t. This is one of my favorite Luthor scenes where he talks Clark why he likes him but despises Superman: In short, you’re everything he’s not.

Everything about him screams Luthor but his voice. Can’t hide that British accent.

Jamie would have, but I get why they went with Gal. She’s legit badass IRL and has that innocent charm to her.

It’s Billy Zane. If I ran into Mark Strong in public, he’d just remind of an old boss of mine. Billy Zane though, he’s absolutely Luthor and I’d assume he was if I ever met him in passing. I don’t understand why DC didn’t call him the second they started the DCEU.

You know who wasn’t wasted? Matt Damon.
It’s like someone in the MCU correctly told him that if he wanted to be in it, it would have to be for a joke
2x technically with Deadpool 2.
Brad Pitt and Damon’s cameos were some of the best parts of making it DP2 fresh.
