It's very annoying to have these influencer conservatives continuing to wage war over it, I don't see how it's helpful. Particularly as to Nolan, who has made some of the better, less heavy-handed films of the era.

Not nothing. I listen to Nolan & the actors themselves. I SEE who is cast in the movie. The armor is crap, the ships are Viking, not Mediterranean, not Greek, the trailers LOOK washed out and bland. And the dialogue… ho lee fuq!!

Except you have spent literal hours of your life consuming content and debating this movie. Probably more than the majority of people who watched the movie by a large margin.
You may not view that as rewarding the movie, but it certainly extracted your time from you. Time is our most valuable resource.

Nobody told me to do anything. I don't consume content around this stuff. I watch a trailer and think "that looks good" or "that looks bad" and I make my decision.
If I'm on the fence, as I was with this movie, I'll wait for some reviews of people that I know and they all said positive things.
