Well, I've just received something that may be a big downer to some. Devin Faraci, who is a Tomatometer-approved critic tweeted this a couple of days ago:

Yea, apparently he was not in attendance and hearing from people he knew. I've also heard some talk about specific critics not being invited, etc. It may mean nothing, it may mean something. We'll find out tomorrow night.

I'm almost positive it's going to sit around the 40-50% range on RT.
But that wont mean it's a bad film. RT is wrong sometimes.

BTW, at this stage, Man of Steel early reviews were mostly positive but there were premiere viewers who immediately called it abysmal and terrible. A good sign that we haven't seen any of those yet.
I'm sure the critic reviews will range from great to worst ever.

For me, I'll definitely go see a movie if the RT User Score is above 70%.
For a movie like BvS, I don't anticipate a great critic score. Hope I'm wrong though. I can't fricking wait for Thursday night.

When did RT scores become such a big deal? It matters little to me what a critic thinks. Heck, some of my favorite films of all time were films that critics have hated.

They're not really a big deal to me. I really only look at the User Scores because I think they're a better indicator of if I'll like a movie I'm on the fence about.
I don't really care what anyone else has to say for BvS. I'm making my own mind up on it.

Faraci isn't ready to hate on this movie. He's a smartass and a generally unlikable guy, but if he thinks the movie is good, then he'll say so. He's not out to get you. He received death threats over his opinions of Batman Begins and TDK and those were generally positive reviews.

Agreed, but Faraci does love trolling the fanboys. He's not doing it to upset me or you, he does it to get a rise out of all the nutty fanboys out there.
