She acted strange when he called her from the prison and she didn't answer letting it go to voicemail. He mentioned the affair in a way that implied the wife already knew about it.

It appeared that the act they showed was him getting pegged. That, however, is not the “Amazon position” from what I was able to learn via Google (which is the lady basically crouched/squatted on top).
So, what they showed them engaging in was not the “Amazon position.” No idea if that was intentional and meaningful within the storyline or if the writers were just playing fast and loose with terminology for a joke.

Their whole Jamba Juice/exotic romance is clearly a farce on Carol's part- she's just in it to milk Clark for cash/insurance it appears. There's nothing really passionate about their interaction.

I assume they are making fun of people with modern fetishes, in that some/most of them are bizarre and hard to believe people are getting anything out of them. At least that’s my guess! Hard to “peg” this show yet, may make a lot more sense at the end or on rewatch.

I really like this show, but the scenes with just the 2 cops are really bad. Old white cop is just clueless, and the young woman black cop is a modern day Sherlock Holmes.
