Nope. It gets so much worse that it’s the highest rated drama on tv.

First of all its a great great show.
Yes, I think it does get much better than the 1st two episodes. Much Much better.
But I still think every episode is great so maybe you just have horrible taste.

I felt the same way and I want to like it. I just didn't like any of the actors except for Brian Cox.

Here's the thing with Succession:
I think people that watch an episode or two and "don't like it", don't understand it. I don't mean that to be condescending. It IS an odd show in terms of what it is and how its represented.
People think its a drama. But it is not at all. It is a dark comedy/dramedy filled with completely off-putting Office-esque situations, utterly awful people, etc. It can be quite hilarious. Once you understand the humor in it it changes the show for you.
I'll really never understand someone giving a show two episodes. You can NEVER understand a show after two episodes. Especially when one is the Pilot which are very often disimilar from the rest of the show.
Watch the entire Season 1. If you don't like it after that, that's fine.

I watched through it for the first time a few weeks ago before the S03 premier came out. I remember it taking a bit to get invested in it but the next thing I knew, I was finished with both seasons and couldn't wait for the third.

Right. It does take a second to get going, to understand the humor, the characters and dynamics, etc.
Once it does, the show is pretty goddamn good. And fricking hilarious.

I like the show, but the problem is there are just so few likable characters. Everyone besides my boy Greg is a piece of shite.

the pilot is the worst episode. every episode gets better in Season 1.
Then Season 2 is just amazing from start to finish.

I don't mind that they're all POS, for me, its the actors themselves. I feel if it were a different cast, I would enjoy it more.

I do wish Kendall was more successful.
The whole father vs son dynamic is great TV and compelling. I just wish Kendall wasn’t such a frick up and it would be way more entertaining. I’m not saying he needs to be perfect but the occasional well played hand or smart PR decision would be nice
