quote:Different how? I've seen dogs way more scared than that when faced with a bath. Also, the dog did not "nearly drown", snowflake. He was submerged for barely a second before multiple humans rushed to get him.
Putting your dog in a bath tub or spraying him with a hose is a little different than throwing him into a pool with 8 outboard motors churning the water to simulate whitewater rapids and the dog nearly drowning.

Does your dick grow a centimeter everytime you type out snowflake? Damn man switch up the schtick a little bit. A broom has more range than you

I don't understand how this even happened. Every movie using an animal- any animal- has a rep from the Humane Society to oversee the use of the animals. If the rep didn't intervene, how can there be any uproar over this? Did they miss this scene or approve it? If they approved it, everyone needs to quit fussing.
There was a rep there, and he was suspended/fired over this.

It's different because the dogs fear is justified in this case. Are you going to jump in whitewater with 8 propellers churning feet from your face?
Barely a second? The dog was struggling to keep his muzzle above water for the last 10 seconds of the video, and they don't even show the moment he went in the water, just him at the back of the pool so no telling how long passed in between that.
It's not the making the dog so something he doesn't want to do that's the problem. It's the putting the dog in a life threating situation. But you seem to be too concerned with having an opportunity to use every idiots new favorite insult "snowflake" to apply any kind of logic.
Seriously, what's the point of even doing this stunt in the first place? These days it'd be cheaper to CGI the rushing water around the dog than to build an elaborate set and buy all the motors and shite and it'd still look just as good in the movie. Completely unnecessary .

You apparently give a shite just as much as everyone else in the thread

They are just fricking dogs, although I do see the irony in a movie about how great they are treating one "poorly".
They are JUST frickING DOGS!

Because practical effects look better and it's just a fricking dog.

Perfect example we had a horrible storm a couple months back and my 2 dobermans have this thing where they hate going into sheds or any covered area. So during the the flood and terrintial downpour I had to go outside and get them into our shed for shelter. Even in dangerous weather they fought me 10x harder than that dog in the video. Should I be arrested for forcing them into the shelter and out of danger? The point is 99.9% of the time a dog has no idea what's dangerous and what isn't some dogs are easy going and will jump into water on command some will go bananas if you try to put them into a pet taxi. They're dogs if they're going to co-exist with us they'll have to do some uncomfortable things now and then. There's always the alternative that they can all be cut loose and end up dead.

I can handle 99% of all movies, but if a dog dies I'm out. I still don't like to talk about " My Dog Skip".

I know what you're trying to say, but trying to save a dog from an actual dangerous situation isn't the same as filming a movie.
