No but you need to watch
Dr. Strange 1, Wandavision, and possibly Infinity War
Not possibly. Watch both infinity war and endgame before this no questions asked along with WandaVision and Dr. Strange 1. You will be so lost otherwise

I think we will look back on this film like we do with Avengers 1. It’s going to be the foundation for Secret Wars. I don’t see how it doesn’t.
Olsen crushes it. I just wish they made her more powerful. I wish they made X more powerful and had more of a battle with Wanda.
Glad they gave us Mount and Krasinski. Wish Namor was there instead of Capt Marvel or Capt Carter.
Can’t wait to see where they go with Clea.

MoM doesn't hold a candle to the multiverse of Everything, Everywhere All At Once. Still a great movie though, and exceptionally brutal.

I was very shocked. But hey, I got a chance to refill my wine and not miss any movie, so I wasn’t too upset about it

I liked it. Not the strongest MCU entry but I enjoyed it
ETA: better not be the last time we see Wanda.

2nd post credit is definitely worth a laugh. Don’t listen to the nubs on here.

To be sure, the mid credits scene is integral to the advancement of Strange's story. Post credits is just funny, but nt of any consequence outside of this film.

Just got out. I really liked it. That Krasinski cameo definitely had me feeling the same way as the Matt Murdock cameo. I was like oh this is freaking cool.
I feel like the, “violence and gore and scary images“ thing was a little overblown. It was definitely somewhat more violent than your average run-of-the-mill Marvel movie, but they still had the tropes like the scratch above the eyebrow and the way that Peggy Carter died was pure Marvel off screen implied violence.
I don’t know if the close-ups on peoples faces and zooming the cameras into their eyes is this directors signature style, sort of like how Tarantino likes feet and how Todd Phillips likes zooming in on peoples hands, but it was definitely prevalent and a little overused.
Speaking of directing style, I don’t know if Rachel McAdams’ screen direction was make the goofiest faces you can, but she was nailing those goofy faces. Still legitimately my number one crush in Hollywood
Fun movie.

I don't have an opinion one way or the other about Rachel McAdams as a person or an actor, but I crush pretty hard on Dr. Christine Palmer.
Ditto for Peggy Carter.

I enjoyed the film but the acting from Xochitl Gomez was shite
ETA: Is the downvote upset that I criticized an LGBT character?
She was objectively bad.

Watch “The Evil Dead” and tell me how much it’s used…

I was expecting the other Wanda to do battle with Darkhold Wanda. But I was not at all disappointed with Wanda's power. She was incredible and really unstoppable. She had to be convinced to stop herself.

The fact that America tricked/convinced her was slightly disappointing. I was expecting a coop effort to subdue her.

Worked out really well for the Illuminati. Who did you think was gonna show up? Who can frick with her?

The super hero dialogue was definitely heavy on this one
Illumi-whatie was unforgivable.
ETA: that being said, I loved the movie. Looking forward to watching it again. So much to process.

So is Krasinski officially Mister Fantastic
Would they do a prequel? Seeing as to how he died by wanda kinda makes him making a future fantastic 4 movie irrelevant

This was a variant form of Reed we’ve seen different versions of Loki be the exact same before as the MCU or 616 Loki is dead

Not a bad movie, way 2 much American Chavez. no one gives a frick about that garbage character. Marvel shoving even more garbage down our throats. They refuse to stop promoting shite characters, white washing characters, and going to the woke side.
DC is learning their lessons, Marvel continues to quadruple down, even after failure after failure of movies.

You good there pal?

I had no idea who some of the characters were but as a stand alone movie, I loved it. This is peak Sam raimi. I loved the horror scenes in a super hero movie. Like I said, to comic book people some of these characters are probably throw always so that may be why the hardcore people won’t like it as much
