I can’t link it because it’s behind a paywall, but here’s a quote from Kevin Maher with the Sunday Times review of Snow White…

quote:

"Believe the anti-hype. It’s that bad. This latest Disney adaptation was yanked from prerelease marketing duties — the London premiere was axed — for good reason. It represents a new low for cultural desecration and for a venerable 102-year-old entertainment company that now looks at its source material with a pinched nose of disgust" |

I believe its bad. But 2 board members that dont get wrapped up in the political controversy went and watched it and said they enjoyed it.

Should i trust real people or the sunday times?

Let’s do a simple math problem. If you invest $300 million to create and put on sale a product, but only sale $45 million worth of said product, what is your overall ROI and GP percentage?

I’ll wait.

God, I’m not defending this movie in the slightest, but this post makes no sense one weekend in. Disney is going to break even on this, whether through ticket sales, home sales, merchandise.

frick Disney, their virtue signaling, and the troll for a lead actress, but Disney’s ROI on this shite show, unfortunately, has a lot of run left to it.

Anyone that brings a shred of intellectual honesty to this board gets shunned by the permanently online crowd.

If you dont say this is the worst movie ever made and it is gonna lose a billion dollars you are just a disney defender.

Not to mention, one of them is TulaneLSU.

That is like believing an el Gaucho post is real.

Do your math for the new netflix movie The Electric State. Explain to Netflix how it makes sense to make a movie with a $300 million budget and release it for free.

How exactly is a rainbow made? How exactly does a sun set? How exactly does a posi-trac rear-end on a Plymouth work? It just does.

Same way you blanket defend all Disney properties... you just do

Go ahead and get in on the support of Live Action Stitch... You'll be right with that one being successful because that one ACTUALLY looks good and is getting raved anticipation

Lol I literally just said universal is better.

Also said i refuse to watch this movie.

If you really paid attention youd know the only disney remake ive watched is beauty and the beast.

But much like the others on this board and the guy above me said. Saying a movie is prolly bad and you wont see it makes you a disney defender lol

I did when you whiffed on the My Cousin Vinny thread and now you're going over the top trying to put obscure lines from that movie into other threads to make it sound like you knew what that thread was about the whole time.

Just keep making animated movies, I don’t get their infatuation with live action remakes. Animation is what built Disney

We are getting a live action how to train your dragon. I dont understand the fascination either... The original movies were great. Wild robot also and origjnal and it was great.

Quit trying to remake shite and just make something new.

Excited for the god of war seriesr.

Yeah the trolls and incels have ruined the rating system.
Nah. Disney did that themselves along with Rachel Zegler’s dumbass shitting on the original and its fans along with saying anti-Israel rhetoric.

But sure. “Incels” and “trolls” are to blame for the low score and backlash
