Turner and Hooch
This show was ok but it got annoying how completely stupid Turner was about ditching the vet chick for the chick who broke his heart. Real men don't act like that. We stopped watching.

First season was great, but I don't see the point in watching season two without Emilio Estevez in it. They should have known that was going to bomb.

Agreed. I really liked the first season, but didn't even bother watching season 2 without him in it.

The Big Shot was actually really good. I liked Mighty Ducks: Game Changers as well.
Oh well.
The Big Shot was surprisingly good.

And it was original, not based on pre-existing IP. Probably not all that expensive to make, relatively speaking.
It's the type of content they should be putting more effort into instead of cancelling it.

Was actually a decent enough watch, especially how they roped in Gordon Bombay. Emilio apparently hated what they did in Season 1 and decided not to come back. No reason for me to watch then.

I hurt myself laughing when Johnny Depp and Rickey Gervais put Willow in the toilet

No, Emilio fought the draconian Covidian rules and Disney dropped him for it.

The Covid stuff was never confirmed as the reason he left, and Estevez himself dispelled those rumors.
Straight from the horse's mouth in an interview from a few weeks ago.
quote:
Estevez, who played hockey coach Gordon Bombay, said he felt Game Changers "didn't pay the proper homage to the movies. The fans were the first ones to tell us that. That is really the reason why I didn't return for the second season."
My guess though is that he wasn't thrilled about the first season, but probably would have done another season for the easy money. Then they wanted to force him to take the vaccine and he just said "to hell with it" and declined to return. Who knows what may have transpired with no vax requirement.

Weirdly, they didn't do the same thing to the girl who plays Shuri in Black Panther who did the same thing Emilio did.

removed from Disney’s streaming services globally, include Disney+’s Willow, Big Shot, Turner & Hooch, The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers, Just Beyond, Diary of a Future President, The Mysterious Benedict Society and The World According to Jeff Goldblum and Hulu’s Y: The Last Man, Dollface, The Hot Zone, Maggie, Pistol and Little Demon.
Gotta admit Dollface was guilty pleasure watch. Started watching with the wife and kind of liked it.

Don't understand how removing something that takes up minimal space on a streaming server saves money for any of these companies. Maybe if you sell the rights to another company, but having a massive library for streaming isn't a technological marvel.
