Is it safe to say the new Dumbo won't feature the crows' song?

That doesn’t mean they won’t sell physical copies, does it?

They are not going to produce anything to the likes of Daredevil and The Punisher.

One can only hope.

The Disney Star Wars TV shows have been great.
they are good, but absolutely geared towards children. Where as the gore and violence of Daredevil and Punisher.

I wonder how they’ll structure this? Will it be like HBO/WWE where they have a channel always airing something but you can go through a menu and pick out episodes or movies to watch? New episodes hit weekly for the new shows as well. Will they add episodes from the current season of shows on ABC/Freeform/Disney Channel after they air? Next night? Week later? After the season?

Will it be more like Netflix organization where there is no live channel, just pick whatever is listed and full seasons drop at once? Are you going to have number of device restrictions?

One thing I hope they do from a Prime idea is run a handful of pilots for shows and see what sticks, let users vote on if they want to see a show go to series or not. Since they are going to have a lot of child oriented programming, I bet they’ll get more experimental with choose your own adventure style programming as well.

Wonder how long they’ll make people wait for new releases to come to the service as well. For instance, Endgame comes out the last weekend of April. Generally speaking it will be on blu-Ray/digital 3-4 months later. Let’s go with the latter end and say they would put it out on Labor Day weekend. How much latter would it appear on Disney X? Would you even still sell blu-rays/digital?

I seriously doubt that Disney will sell the rights to their movies to HBO/Starz anymore though. You want to watch our new movies? You either buy it or buy our streaming service.

"The service... is going to combine what we call library product, movies, and television, with a lot of original product as well, movies and television," Iger said. "And at some point fairly soon after launch it will house the entire Disney motion picture library, so the movies that you speak of that traditionally have been kept in a 'vault' and brought out basically every few years will be on the service. And then, of course, we’re producing a number of original movies and original television shows as well that will be Disney-branded."

This says nothing of ceasing production of hard copies. Huge assumption by the blogger/site.

If they included live channels like abc and espn they could pretty much charge what they wanted.
