I'm not really getting how some of these movies were picked for the bracket.
Not having Finding Dory or Monsters U while having two Cars movies and all three Toy Stories is odd. If they had to cut movies to make it a 16 movie bracket how did Cars 2 and The Good Dinosaur make the cut over either of those two?
The Disney side of the bracket is also weird w/how they picked movies. Does the movie need to have computer animation to count? Otherwise how does something like Princess and the Frog makes it over movies like Sleeping Beauty and Snow White?
Also, while Disney did release Nightmare Before Christmas through Buena Vista it was not a Disney Animation Studios project and was instead produced through Touchtone and Skellington Productions (which also produced James and the Giant Peach).
The seeding is off too. Movies like Frozen and Moana should not being going up against eachother in the first round.
Also HOW IN THE frick do they create a March Madness style bracket and not have the movie literally called Cinderella?

I’m gonna guess diversity.
As to Moana vs frozen. They just have more and more decent Disney movies and these are the lastest in the “princess” line maybe that’s why they paired them.

I'm writing in Wreck It Ralph in Pocohantas' slot, and it marches to the Final Four to get creamed by the Lion King.
Then I'll take Toy Story 3 to face Monsters, Inc. Lion King takes down Monsters Inc for the title. then we hunt own whoever designed this bracket and have them shot.

B/c Moana should be higher than a 7 seed on it's side of the bracket. As listed Tangled is a 3, The Princess and the Frog is a 4, Lilo and Stitch is a 5, and Big Hero 6 is a 6. Moana was reviewed better (using metacritic) and made more money than all of those (save for BH6 making $12m-ish more WW).

That doesn't make it a bad movie. It's also better than A Bugs Life, Ratatouille, Brave, and Cars. If quality is the issue it should be in over those as well.
Hell, would the average person in 2018 even be able to correctly describe the differences between the plots of A Bug's Life, Antz, and Bee Movie?
BTW, I'm not saying BH6 is bad. Just that I think Moana is a better movie.
