Maybe I haven't seen hunchback in a long time, but I can't see how that beat out movies like toy story, incredibles, or even beauty and the best

Well first off Beauty and the Beast is the most flawless film Disney has ever made (although Pinocchio may also qualify).

Secondly, Hunchback had the following sequences:

The Bells of Notre Dame
Hellfire
Frollo's Death

I will grant you though that Hunchback has single crippling flaw: the fricking gargoyles. Every moment they're not on screen is a god damn masterpiece, but whenever they come in it's "Oh frick me..." I'd say they're debatably the worst addition to an otherwise good film in cinematic history. The goat and the horse were fine for comic relief. At least Tangled learned this lesson.

Lion King
Aladdin
Toy Story
Cars

Lion King vs Cars

Lion King

IMO fox and the hound and 101 Dalmatians should be in this but obviously not Pixar.

Cruella Deville may have been one of the biggest Disney heels in history. She legit scared me as a child.

All o this.

At it's heart though, it is one of the most honest of Disney movies. it's charming without feeling fake.

OK, no substance. Care to debate where I'm wrong? Like "The Lion King" is not a flawless movie. Nala and Simba are really not that good of characters (Nala specifically is underdeveloped). Scar being an awful ruler debatably may have had everything to do with a long drought, where Simba just happened to come in at the very end of it.

You don't have any of these flaws in Beauty and the Beast and Pinocchio. Everything is very deliberate and all the characters are well written. As creepy as it was, Scar not trying to seduce Nala in the film (which I'm almost sure will be included in the remake) was a dumb scene to cut. You may say the abstract timeline from the original BatB, but when they cut it down to a week like in the live action version, it doesn't make any sense anymore. The plot makes much more sense if Belle and the Beast were bonding for months, Belle's father failed to find her, and Gaston waiting around boiling in rage for a while, which is implied.

This bracket might be worse than the GoT one that is circulating with The Night King as a 5 seed.

With his strength, I am curious how anyone can stand up to him. You better get one hell of a shot in on him, because one on one, your body would be immediately shattered fighting him with a sword and shield.

Moana vs Frozen is a tough match in the opening round.

Moana is my favorite Disney movie.

There’s a small handful I haven’t seen, but based on what I have

Lion King
Aladdin
Toy Story 3
Incredibles

There were some tough matchups, especially in the bottom right

The Little Mermaid (Can't believe this one makes it beyond the first round)

Yeah, it’s not like the little mermaid set the stage for the rest of the great run. We get it. You think Ariel was an airhead. Doesn’t mean it wasn’t a great movie with fantastic, almost unparalleled music.

I agree that the score is fantastic. I think you can make a great case that it has the best musical score of any Disney film. Every song is immediately memorable. And you have a point that it did set Disney up for a great run since Beauty and the Beast pretty much directly addressed the problems people like myself had with TLM. But I disagree with pretty much every action the protagonist takes and she doesn't learn shite.

Final 4 would be:
Lion King
Alladin
Toy Story
Monsters Inc

That bottom-right bracket is brutal - Finding Nemo, Bug's Life, Wall-E, Monsters Inc, and Incredibles? Woof!
