You’re still looking at less than 100 bucks for all services out there I believe, that you actually use. And can cancel each one every month without penalty if you aren’t getting value out of them

Spectrum wanted 130 bucks for like 50 channels with hardly anything I actually watch.

So random thought...what happens with The Simpsons ride at Universal Studios? Did Universal just license it and when the deal expires do they build new rides based off of something else?

If they bring their level of customer service to all service industries I welcome our new overlords.

ETA: Really hoping they manage to get the theme park rights for the Marvel characters from Universal. More than enough properties to build a Marvel park at WDW. Only being able to put rides outside of Orlando sucks. With GotG being added to EPCOT I seriously doubt this being considered.

And yet people bitch because everything isn't on Netflix. A la Carte went out the window. People want to pay for one or two streaming services. It's no longer, "I'll pay for the six channels I actually watch."

Then someone will come up with the great idea of bundling several together and paying one monthly note. And if you combine your internet service with it, you can save more. All of a sudden we're back to cable companies... rinse repeat.

Disney inherited a licensing agreement when it bought Marvel that prevents them from using certain Marvel characters in the Orlando parks while Universal also uses them. I wonder if the Fox merger had a similar agreement.

I hope not. This agreement is holding us back from Marvel theme park greatness.

Not if you watch sports your don't.

Also, I don't know what kind of package you had but that must have been grandfathered in before they merged with Time Warner.

Their base package is 125 channels for $44.99 a month, Silver is 175 for $84.99, and Gold is 200+ for $104.99. Silver and up include HBO, Cinemax, and Showtime.
