Have you had problems with buffering especially on Fox News? I have both DirectvNow and Youtube TV and DirectvNow is much slower. Anybody else finding this?

It was damn near perfect for us before the new interface/DVR. Now it's so much slower, and we're thinking about going back to DirecTV. We're getting the $50 package at the introductory price of $35 because we signed up early, and we'll lose that if we cancel and try to come back.

i got rid of direct tv now because of the buffering. just wait until any type of big sporting event. it will buffer for most of it. i canned it after i couldnt even watch the nfl draft.

Outside of an isolated nationwide outage I truly haven’t had any problems. Now the beta DVR on the roku app needs a lot of work because from what I have read the roku version is the most beta version of all Directv now apps.

And added bonus, they just finally added local CBS and Fox channels in the Baton Rouge area.

I don't watch that channel, so I can't speak to that one. But I haven't had any issues with the other channels.

Yes - mine buffers like crazy during “peak” times. At night, big tv events, etc.

I have my roku hardwired to at&t fiber 1Gb service.

So - its not my connection.

Only thing that aggrivates me about DTVNow.

We've had a little trouble since they updated everything, but not enough to make me want to cancel it.

I've only been on it a week or two and it pixelates and buffers pretty regularly. I only signed up for a month for the free Roku stick, so I'll be cancelling it pretty soon and going to YouTubeTV. Never had buffering problems with it when I did their free trial. Plus my local CBS is included with it and not with Direct.

All my channels stream fine but I have issues when watching a recording. As soon as I try to warch a recording it takes forever to load, buffers, then finally just quits and gives me the “having trouble” message. I like DtvNow but the dvr is a shitshow. I’m watching at 100mb but I go to dialup in my library. Also haven’t had much luck with restarting a show.

I’m also using Apple TV. I actually got it free by signing for directv now for 3 months. I never have buffering issues when watching live tv. Mine only happens with the dvr. Drives me crazy.
