Director's Cut of Kingdom of Heaven

...is on AMC right now. Started at 7 pm CST. This is how the movie should have been shown in the theaters. Much better than the theatrical cut.
It's four hours long. So, you haven't missed much.
Edit: I completely forgot Edward Norton played King Baldwin the Leper. There was just a thread about Norton fading into the background...

I heard that this is the cut to watch.
I have it and am waiting to watch it until after I finish the book I am reading dealing directly with Jerusalem.

solid flick. I couldn't believe how much better the director's cut is than the regular release.

Director's cut on Bluray blew my mind

I don't remember much of the original movie because I wasn't blown away with it so haven't watched it again. However, sounds like I may have to check this out.

It's awesome how Orlando Bloom's character goes from a blacksmith to the hero of Jerusalem with only one session of sword training in the woods by his father. fricking beast mode right there.

Also was this kid completely cut out of the theatrical cut because I don't remember him at all?
Yes.
And as far as Balian becoming a badass, in the director's cut, they establish he has fought in many wars, is a very good strategist, and specializes in siege engines.

I remember being extremely unimpressed in theatres, I was wary but bought directors cut on blu ray based off recommendations and fricking loved it. Probably seen it 3-5 times in past couple years since I own it.

I've only seen the director's cut. It made my top 20 mwads 00's list.

It came on again at 11 p.m.. I didn't realize it wouldn't be over until 3 a.m.
I am enjoying it. Never seen it before. Going to get a copy of the DVD.
Want to watch it without the damn AMC commercials.

A couple of the scenes that were cut were pretty important IMHO.
SPOILERS:
The scene where Princess Sybilla murders her son when she realizes he has leprosy like her brother did.

Yeah, it annoyed me when he took on like 5 assassins in knight armor.
But yeah, I've heard this version is amazing.
