Jon last saw Ghost when, at Castle Black?

Not even a word to him in the background. But we get multiple scenes of Greyworm and Meissendre (sp).

Did Varys say a word all episode?

But there were some parts I liked. Emilia Clarke is a great actress for facial expressions.

Is this thread serious?

The first two episodes could all have been a 70 minute episode and nothing would be any different.

They're dragging this shite out for $$$$$

Maybe one of my biggest gripe is the lack of importance in the dire wolves

As I said in the other thread this episode is The Last Supper.

Yes.

It wasn't perfect, mostly because the "Jon gets your throne" reveal was in a bad spot. Spent a whole lot of time building the dread and sorrow of what was to come. By the song, I was in the horror with them, me too dreading what was to come. It should have did its panning around with the song being sung, hear the horn, and see the Night King arrive on the last line. End episode.

It missed the right emotional note to leave on, but otherwise was excellent. The audience needs to ponder on the fear. To reconnect one last time with many of these characters. It did that job very well.

She’s 22.

So anyone who thinks a 22 year old playing a 17ish year old in a medieval fantasy is “suspect”?

Solid bait. This episode I have as the worst. Terrible writing and cheesy lines/love stories galore

It’s cool you hated this episode. GRRM will finish the books any day now I’m sure.

No. How is this even a damn question? This episode was mostly pointless

I felt more emotion in Sam giving his sword away than any of the Jaime or theon scenes. Sad

If you seriously think these were wasted episodes, maybe you need to go watch transformers or some other mindless action packed bullshite.

I don't see how anyone could think that they're wasted episodes. I enjoyed it and even got a little emotional at times. Jaime showing up to make his stand. Same thing with theon. Knowing that they're probably not walking away from this. I'd probably have been heading in the other direction and saying good riddance. There's something about going to certain doom with your head held high. The young girl telling Jorah that she wasn't going to the crypts that she was going to fight. It's alright guys let's make them work for it and hopefully there'll be somebody left to tell the story of the stand we made here.

The war is coming, and this is the end of the road for most of the characters. Having a nice moment to reflect is understandable, human, and good storytelling. It was a great episode that hit me right in the feels as a fan of this universe and series, enjoy the ride, and see everyone on the other side.

This 100%. I enjoyed the frick out that episode. It was awesome watching everyone have their final moments of peace.

It was definitely one of my favorite episodes in a long time.

There were some great character moments, and I enjoyed seeing all the preparations going on in the background.

They were shite. Lazy writing.. 1 & 2 could have been combined in one episode if they wanted to tie every single loose end with every single character. You cant tell me all of these radical people under one roof, who have fought each other for years, killed family members and friends of the others, are all just so buddy buddy now for 2 straight episodes with zero conflict. Some of you are letting your little GOT fanboy love get in the way of what actually has went on the last 2 episodes.
