Did Mace Windu cut off Jango Fetts hand?

Checked out of middle school to see AOTC and thought this scene was so awesome and now I just laugh at it. Still love it tho.

The right hand is semi closed and further back and the left is open and forward. Probably just an optical illusion.

The jetpack was damaged from his fight with the reek 15 seconds before. The movie goes out of its way to show it malfunctioning before Mace attacked

Not if you view it as a romantic comedy. Seriously, rewatch this movie with those lenses on and it becomes a great movie.
