Definitely worth it. There were definitely things I did not remember.

Yennifer is so hot. I hope she doesn't go all Emila Clarke and not show the puppies this season.

BTW, there's a prequel anime (Nightmare of the Wolf) which is pretty good. Sets the table in some ways, but is fairly stand alone.

I did that during the Thanksgiving break.

I love the fight choreography. His words are the right length for practical use. I always thought Aragorn’s sword Narsil was too long and made the swarming irc fight scenes seem unrealistic. With that many bodies coming at you that long as sword would not be effective.

That show was so confusing until the end, it kinda pissed me off they didn’t tell us the time frame since it skips around years and decades

I found the rewatch more enjoyable than the first run through after understanding the timeline. Loved the fight choreography a lot.

And yea. Yenny is fiiiiiiiine.

That's all gone in S2. People complained and the writers corrected it for S2. It's linear.

That is because the first season was based on the book of short stories which were not linear. This season will be based off of the games story lines. From what we have seen it could be based more off of the last game.

No, it won't be based off the games storylines. The entire tv series is based off the author's book series and Netflix has a deal with him to make the series.

Not including the two short story Witcher books, the rest of the series is 5 books long. The games pick up after the end of those five books.

In the games I’ve struggled between Triss (the hair) and Yennefer (the attitude). Yennefer on the show nails the attitude and her body is killer.

Saw a quote from the girl that plays Ciri saying that Cavil is basically a walking book when they are filming. They are in a scene and he is just like, he we should use this line from p.233 of this book here, it would be perfect.

So awesome. We don’t deserve him.

Too bad we'll never get another Man from U.N.C.L.E. movie. He was great in that.

All three of the main cast were fantastic in it. Maybe Richie’s most underrated movie.

Hammer may not get work for a while anyways. Virklander doesn’t seem like she’d be above doing another one.

I’m a fantasy/scifi nerd so I was in no matter what.

My wife bailed after the third episode because it wasn’t making sense to us.

Then I watched the 4th episode with Duny and Ciri’s mom and it clicked. I explained the timelines to her and she got back in. Last episodes were a great payoff. Normally I appreciate showrunners giving the audience credit to be smart enough to figure it out but that was a bit complicated.

I had zero knowledge of the witcher games and books going in, and I thought the series was great. It was a little confusing with the non-linear timeline until I caught on, but I thought it added a lot to the show.

I planned on watching an episode a night to get ready for season 2, but I ended up watching all of them yesterday instead.

I’m glad they didn’t spoon feed us things and made us figure it out on our own. That was part of the experience. Of course, I can see how most of our adhd instant gratification culture could be turned away by having to actually think.

Get frick out of here with this condescending nonsense
It’s like you are rolling out a stock answer.

Having never read the books I’m willing the bet there’s some indicator what time things are taking place.
