Can't think of any... I must have missed them.

This is one of those scenes that begged for a ton of tiny references. Some high-profile background characters immediately stood out, like a quick shot of the duo Evazan and Ponda Baba, who end up in Mos Eisley on Tatooine in A New Hope.

I didnt understand this. Jedha was obviously destroyed, right?

How did they get to Tattoin?

There's a dude sleeping with his back to her in the bed while she's on the phone.

"Friday"

Craig's ghetto girlfriend is on the phone fussing and accusing him of sleeping around with some other chick, but this slut is doing the exact same thing.

That's always a good one for a thread like this.

One that I never got until a couple years ago, and thanks to this board, was when Kevin's plane ticket is thrown away in Home Alone. It's so fast and subtle.

I learned about that one on this board too.

Easter Eggs from Rogue one....

You missed the Ghost from Star Wars Rebels. It was just barely caught on screen on the ground at Yavin and then was shown several times in the battle over Scarif

In BTTF in the first few minutes of the original marty meets doc at twin pines mall.
The 9/11 conspiracy video about BTTF is fantastic.

The R2 and 3PO hieroglyphics in Raiders always escaped my notice until someone on here pointed it out.

My wife always gets mad at me for pointing out the subtle hints in movies. It's gotten to where she only looks for them instead of following the actual movie.

Sandler drops a Tommy Boy line in 50 First Dates when Akroyd is saying who funds the clinic. "Tommy B Callahan out of Sandusky, Ohio..."

Kevin Smith has a ton of crossover lines/hints in the View Askewniverse.

Always got a great laugh out of people who had no idea that the Austin Powers movies were quasi James Bond spoofs. I mean, the villains & hot women character names were great.

Almost forgot-towards the beginning of I Am Legend there's a scene looking over wildlife covered NYC. There's a billboard of Batman vs. Superman with the 2015 release date. Might say 2013, my eyes are getting older. Either way, it goes to show you those movie execs are some scheming money printing SOBs.

So I watched Spotlight last night for the second time, which is that movie that had the Boston reporters uncover how the Catholic priests were molesting children in the Boston area.

In this scene where Sasha meets with Phil at a bar to tell her that the newspaper needs to focus on September 11, and pull the interviews with all the victims, in the background they are showing a Penn State game with heavy focus on Joe Paterno on the sidelines.

When I saw that last night, I was like, that is some clever filmmaking
