Love Denis and will watch anything he makes but this feels like both a bad Bond fit and a waste of his talents.

Who's going to play James Bond? That's what's important
Who knows. This movie is years away, anyways.

Several pretty talented guys gave pitches and Denis won, so he obviously has a vision.
I'd love to see something slightly different in mind for Bond personally
My dream is still a 1960s alternative universe cold war period Bond film

I've seen people say they're concerned that Bond will remain too gritty and brooding like the Craig films, and I think that’s a fair question to ask. I would like to see it going back to fun Bond films.

I’m in that boat as well and still expect it to be a good movie, Denis just feels better suited for visuals, scale and spectacle projects, and not sure that really adds a whole lot to the Bond recipe, new or old.
Would love like a Soderberg Bond or even a John Francis Daly led bond in the vein of the 1967 casino royal

The name's al-Gaib, Lisan al-Gaib.

Everything is super serious these days. We need to bring back the Pierce Brosnan style Bond movies. I think they have held up better over time than the Craig movies.
