Whale’s movie was an improvement on Shelley’s book. I’ll probably try re-reading it soon to give it another chance, but it was a slog to get through the first time.

Is he still interested in doing that? I remember hearing about that over a decade ago.

Could be solid. Gonna need to ugly up Jacob Elordi for the role.

The National Theater in London did Frankenstein on stage with Danny Boyle directing and with Benedict Cumberbatch and Jonny Lee Miller alternating between the roles of The Creature and Dr. Frankenstein. If you ever have the opportunity to watch the video of it either performance, it's fantastic.

I hope everyone has read the book. It really is fantastic.
