As for Danny asking Luke Cage about the Hulk... Danny wasn't even in New York (or the United States for that matter) when it happened. Hell, there's very little evidence that this Iron Fist has any grasp on anything that's going on in the world around him other than what's right in front of his face at the time.

He's been around for quite some time now. They said in the show they had been hunting down the Hand for months. I know he's probably not watching TV and what not, but i'm sure he's figured out that the Avengers exist.

1. Daredevil was by far a better fighter than any other defender.

One thing the show does really well is Daredevil's fighting style (or lack of). I love that he has elements of Kung Fu, Ju Jitsu/Ninjitsu, and Escrima, but you still see him go to straight up boxing at spots during his fights. It's really well done and true to the comics.

With them being able to bring back characters at will, why would they need immortality.

You have to go back t Daredevil Season 2. The method they used to come back from the dead uses the dragon bone (they had used the last of their supply to bring back Electra) that had been incubated in the blood of living hosts. (The heroin junkies from season 2 were addicted to heroin laced with dragon bone).

Luke Cage was pretty underpowered compared to how I remembered him in Jessica Jones

Luke Cage would be too powerful if the writers made him too strong. He'd outclass the others too much.

Iron fist should have muscle tone and as much fighting ability as Daredevil.

If he was aware of it he would likely only complain about it. What a whiny bitch Danny Rand is.

I honestly hope Elektra survived the bomb.

I really love the chemistry she and Matt has. They're too good of a force together to just die like that.

I'm reasonable certain that she did.

I'm really annoyed at the selective strength of Luke Cage in this show

>Spars with Iron Fist, stands there and doesn't feel a thing until he uses the fist.
>Spars with baddies, Elektra and so on, he gets the shite kicked out him and feels it all.

They all had selective maximum power including Elektra. Daredevil is really the only one that's moderately consistent. As for Luke, any blow strong enough to have concussive force can hurt him, like the shotgun blast to the head he took in season 1 of Luke Cage. If he's getting hit hard enough to get knocked back into a wall, which I believe Elektra did, it could be enough to phase him temporarily.

All it means is that unless Dany actually uses the Iron Fist he is a weakling with not enough muscle to hurt a fly.

There was literally not a hint of any other hero or anything from the MCU. You'd think someone like Danny would ask Luke Cage if he's as strong as Hulk when they first meet.

The Avengers have been referenced many times throughout the Marvel series. As far as why they don't call on them to come solve every problem, well that's part of the suspension of disbelief required to tell all of these character's stories.

I guess I liked this more than most here. It lacked a great villain, even though Sigourney Weaver was great, she never felt powerful like Kingpin or Kilgrave. But it was still entertaining. It was much better than Luke Cage and Iron Fist, even if it was a bit below Daredevil and Jessica Jones.

And I completely disagree with the poster that said we got too much of the minor characters. I actually wouldn't have minded another episode or two if it meant we got more Foggy and Trish.

Did Madame Gao survive? I hope she did. She's been the best crossover character in the universe.

I enjoyed it for 8 episodes. Any more and I probably would have been bored.

I didn't like Jessica's role in it all. She seemed to be the least important and all they gave her was one liners.

Danny has gotten annoying.

If it wasn't for Daredevil I prob wouldn't have enjoyed it as much.

She looks pretty damned good to me

We finally finished the series. We watched the first 6 and then stalled out before catching the final 2 this weekend.

I agree in that the Daredevil character is easily the most interesting character in the main group. I still can't stand the Iron Fist actor. Jessica Jones seems to be there for quick one-liners only. Luke Cage's morality seems really weird and short sighted. The argument about whether to blow up the building or not was poorly done, especially from his perspective.

I'm glad Stick is gone. I found him annoying. Hopefully we can move away from the Hand as the primary villain. I think I've seen enough of them (including Elektra), although I do really like the Madame Gao character and actress. She appears to be some sort of Jedi Knight.

Elektra pulled him out and delivered him to the steps of Maggie's nunnery. Defenders ends with a big hint that DDs3 will be a mashup of Danny's time in the mask and Born Again. A comic Frankenstein.

The best thing about DD is his fighting. The worst thing about IF is his fighting. Now we're going to sub IF for DD. There better be a lot of Kingpin and Punisher in DDs3.

At least it sounds like he's putting in a lot more fight training time than he did for IF season 1. LINK
