Snyder had better be able to make a better story in 4 hours than what Wheden's Frankenstein did in 2.

They've only filmed 25% of it. They're barely scratching the surface.

I also liked what they showed with the suicide squad.

From the Reeves interview

quote:

Reeves explained that the script that he co-wrote with Mattson Tomlin threads these characters together through a single mystery that snowballs as it moves forward:

“How all these characters connect was for me one of the challenges but also one of the exciting things about the creation of the story, which is that in going on this urge and compulsion to solve this series of crimes, you touch on all of  these iterations of  the beginnings of these characters. The whole movie is like a snowball rolling. You can just feel the momentum building and building.”

The War for the Planet of the Apes filmmaker also talked about balancing expectations for the comics versions of these characters versus bringing something fresh and exciting to the screen:

“Paul Dano plays a version of The Riddler that no one has ever seen before. He’s such an incredibly creative actor, so what he’s doing I think is going to blow peoples’ minds. And then to have Zoe Kravitz, her iteration of Selina Kyle – to me that’s incredibly exciting. You have an iteration that you’ve never seen of what she’s doing, but it touches on all of these iconic things that people know from the comics. It’s always about trying to square what you know with what also is new, and that is really part of the exciting process of making a Batman movie which is to find a way to make it your own, and to find a way for the actors to make it their own, and yet still connect all of these things so people go, ‘Oh that’s my Selina. I know who that is.’”

If this is really Colin Farrell, that's some amazing prosthetics. He's unrecognizable

I usually only comment on Video Game related metrics but I have to mention this The debut trailer for The Batman just hit 3.1 million views and 120,000+ likes on Twitter in an hour This is legitimately some of the craziest engagements for media I've seen in a long time

The bit with the Batman voice artists from around the world, and the one with Conroy, Bader, Friedle, and Arnett having a Batmen conversation were fun.

The voice sounds good and the suit also looks good.

Yeah he looks emoish with the mask comes off but it's a more realistic. I wouldn't expect him to have perfect hair when he takes it off. Also finally got the black eye paint.

While Marvel is out here committing to Ellen Page’s understudy, trannies, and Muslims, DC grew a big dick and came out swinging it.

You love to see it.

I feel like DC had a very good day for themselves. Though this Multiverse concept they are developing to explain away all of the different versions of these characters might become a little confusing for general audiences.

Agreed. I’ll admit that I’m a Marvel fanboy but I like where they’re setting themselves up to go.l after today.

Different, darker, and weirder. Marvel nailed what it’s been going for but it looks like they have some good direction.

Honestly, it’s just been fun to have a day of getting excited seeing movie trailers for the first time in 6 months.

Is it impressive when a company comes off great after it devotes months of planning to a positive pr day? They directed the material right at the basic 25-40 male demographic that they know doesn't make up a majority portion of their theater audience but is stupidly vocal on social media. We've seen this story from DC before. I'll believe any of these upcoming movies aren't average or worse when I actually see fit myself they aren't total garbage in a theater, and I'm not holding my breath.

Is Robert Pattinson punching a guy three more times than you'd expect an example of growing a dick? Is a list of actors we know are James Gunn's friends (and brother) swinging a large dick? Maybe. Looks more like Gunn got a bunch of money to make a James Gunn movie. Only a couple of those have worked.

We'll see.

You’re insufferable. We get it—you’re very low T and like to watch trannies run around in spandex. DC isn’t for you.

You're literally too stupid to argue with none of what you posted is true.

How’d it work out for Star Wars not directing the material at its core 25-40 male audience?

Naan looked good but I let out a laugh when we saw Robert Pattinson in a suit and tie with the long hair. I had an emo Toby McGuire flashback
